Kelphine Mercery

The Kelphine Mercery was established shortly after Kali Kelphine arrived in Mythrite several months ago. It is a practical building with large windows facing the thoroughfare. The building itself is a one-story simple construct made of wood with a tiled roof. The wood that the store was constructed from was sourced locally. Several silks and other fabrics are visible on display throughout the story and from the window. Upon entering the building a customer, usually one of the upper class from Charlamaine Hill , will see silks and other fabrics hanging loosely from the ceiling, fabrics rolled up in cubby holes along the back wall, and some modest decorations to appeal to the clientele. There is a desk near the back of the room where Kali takes orders displays various fabrics and overall conducts business. Customers typically make their orders in person and get their measurements taken. Some come back to retrieve their new garments, and some opt for delivery. The desk tends to feature garments in the process of being crafted. The building has a back door which is seldom used, and little in the way of security. After all why the need for security when any thief attempting to sell luxury fabrics would have the fabric easily traced back to her. The mercery operates during daylight hours and retrieves its fabric from shipments arriving via the docks.
