Abyss

The collection of planes that make up the realm of demons are known as the Abyss.   Mortal scholars have catalogued 634 different individual planes that make up the Abyss, but more are believed to exist. These planes are numbered by the order they were catalogued in, though many demons have taken to using their numeric titles in addition to their formal names.

Geography

The layers of the Abyss vary as wildly as any other planes, but many have taken on aspects of the demons who rule them. Though individual planes are not guaranteed to be 'geographically' close in the planar sense, many are quite closely connected.

1 - The Soul Well

The Soul Well is one of the most contested locations across the Abyss, with the demonic gods waging a constant war to control the territory. It is through the Soul Well that all captured souls must pass to be claimed by demons. It is a vast but finite realm whose skies rain constant fire. Though it is possible to travel to other planes of the Abyss without traveling through the Soul Well, it is much more difficult. The Soul Well itself contains many portals to the other planes - remnants of past battles and powerful magic.

18 - The Blood Pits

The realm of the demonic god Lumex. The red stone terrain is dotted by pits said to be filled with the blood of those who died in battle. Here, Lumex directs her followers and prisoners alike to fight and prove themselves in battle.

34 - Eyes of Moonsilver

The realm of the demonic god Mammon which manifests itself as a fine mansion. Though a massive building by normal standards, the Eyes of Moonsilver is one of the smallest Abyssal planes. It is also exceedingly dangerous - it is filled with staggeringly powerful traps, and safe passages are only known to Mammon and his most trusted followers. Through the windows of the mansion, a sky of millions of silvery eyes watches the planes inhabitants.

55 - The Boiling Fields

The Boiling Fields are the realm of the demonic god Arvok. They appear as a large ocean of swirling, boiling liquid. A citadel of marble, Cunoasterii, looms in the distance seemingly regardless of which direction you look, and is said to be a great repository of magical knowledge.

68 - Prana

The realm of the demonic god In Kura. It is a land of utter and complete darkness, which even demons have difficulty seeing through. The shadows of this vast realm hide a labyrinth of crumbling buildings that climb into the sky, and sink into the deepest ravines.   Prana holds In Kura's lair, located at the center of the labyrinth. While most demons in the labyrinth serve In Kura, many simply use their darkness for their own purposes.

514 - Minnomek

The current realm of the demonic god Vorozol, though he frequently resides in his most recently conquered planes along with the bulk of his armies. Minnomek is a sprawling, canyon region which boasts some natural - if strange - vegetation. It is currently populated by millions of Vorozol's demonic creations.
