Empire of Sturn
The Sturn Empire is the largest nation in the Northern Realms. Making up most of the controlled landmass, it is comprised of provinces that make up the whole of the empire. These provinces are ruled by provincial viceroys that make up the body of the Sturn parliament alongside the senate of nobles and all adhere to the Emperor.
Long ago The Empire of Sturn was once the former Kingdom of Sturnholm during 346CF that all changed, due to a group of unlikely heroes slaying the black dragon Zarokan and freeing the peoples of the Northern Realms from his reign of terror. Upon the ashes and ruins of Sturnholm after the dragon sacked the city, The Empire of Sturn would be born. Slowly creeping forth form the peninsula it began on it would eventually encompass almost all of the Northern Realms through war and conquest over a thousand years.
