Physical Description
Body Features
Etsuko has a huge scar from her right shoulder to her lower left hip from when she nearly died on Venus. The scar is notable from both the front and the back and stands out from the normal color of her skin.
Special abilities
Familiar Binding Contract
Etsuko has a Binding Contract with Inari Ōkami 稲荷大神, a Fox Familiar who made a deal with the young Etsuko after witnessing her absolute resolve to avenge her father. Inari Ōkami is invested in Etsuko's success on her quest but will not appear if Etsuko strays from the Bushido Code or dishonors the memory of her father, per their contract. Outside of this, she is always more than willing to aid Etsuko whenever summoned.
- Kami Fox Mode: This is an ability granted to Etsuko which allows her to temporarily channel all of Inari Ōkami Familiar power for a short while, covering her in a red aura and burning eyes. This form increases her speed and agility to great heights but also increases the speed at which she generates Magical Energy. However, once used, Etsuko is usually left drained and defenseless, and as such only uses it if she absolutely needs to.
- Fox Eyes: Grants Etsuko the ability to see great distances, magical Energy in extreme detail and in the dark.
Lighting Elemental Tome (LET)
The Lighting Elemental Tome is a powerful ability passed down within the Miyazaki Clan for ages now. It grants Etsuko all kinds of abilities, the most prominent of which is the ability to channel Electricity without wasting any of her own precious Magical Energy in its raw form.
Mage State + Kami Fox Mode
Etsuko learned how to enter Mage State from Saionji Namika on Venus in a year and a half. When in this state, Etsuko turns a glowing blue with electricity cracking around herself. A small personal storm cloud spawns around her body with clouds dense enough to block certain attacks and fire devastating beams of Lighting. If used in conjunction with Kami Fox Mode, her face and body take on fox-like appearances and she grows a long lighting tail as well. In this new 3 form, she receives boosts from both forms and wields the De~yuarusutōmukatana: Naku Yoake as her Soul Caliber, taking on the appearances of a much larger katana with a blade emitting pure electric energy.

Etsuko carries serval small scrolls on herself which serve as her Grimoires, they can hold more Spells than a normal book-style Grimoire but once used are destroyed, forcing her to re-supply after a fight and use them with caution.
- Teleportation Scrolls (2) -- Allows Etsuko to move, or anyone who opens the scroll, to another previously marked location in a set distance, each scroll can only move one person. Usually used to make a quick retreat or return. When used, users will vanish/ appear in a cloud of rose petals.
- Recharge Scrolls (2) -- When used, Etsuko will have her Magical Energy replenished in a matter of seconds. However, this new energy will burn up faster and will make her overall recovery of energy much slower, doubling the normal amount of time, as such she normally tries not to use it.
- Instant Sealing Scrolls (2) -- These scrolls allow Etsuko to instantly seal a person, object, or even certain attacks within the scroll for a few minutes, and will always work on weaker enemies or weakened enemies. However, most can escape from the scroll in a few minutes as well so it should only be used to reposition or to make a desperate escape as most enemies will not fall for it twice.

Light of my World
Earth is considered the capital of Samurai within the Universe, one of the Pilliar worlds that specialize in swordsmanship and the Secret Arts. Although it was a part of the United Stellar Commonwealth, Earth retained sovereignty, ruled by its legendary Shogun family, House Miyazaki. Shogun Miyazaki Tanaka was the most legendary of his time and had three sons, Yagi, Osada, and Fujita. But Tanaka was a stern old man who met his death with a stoic face, electing Yagi, his youngest son, to be the next Shogun.

Yagi may have been the youngest but he outdid his brothers in almost everything he tried, so none of the Clansmate objected to this decision. Yagi led the Miyazaki Clan without error while still so young, advised by his elders but never fully happy. This changed when a certain woman came into his life, Yoshigahara Umi, a handmaid for the Miyazaki palace. Although they were from different classes altogether, Yagi and Umi soon found happiness within each other, from friends to lovers in no time. Umi had no expectations of Yagi, when he was with her he wasn't the Shogun, he was just Yagi.

This summer love was soon discovered by the Clan elders who dismissed it as a fling and began making preparations for Yagi to marry Kaori Mochizuki of House Kaori. It was a prominent Clan that sought to strengthen the bonds of the families and secure their hold on Earth. Yagi has opposed political marriages altogether but entertained the elders out of respect. He soon found Mochizuki to be nothing like the warmth of Umi, she was cold, stern, and manipulative, he found he could never trust her and hated being around the woman.

Yagi outright refused the marriage, disrespecting the Kaori Clan in the process and angering the Clan elders. Yagi would not be bullied by the elders, but it was not he who would pay the price for this rebellion. It was his precious Umi, the warmth of his life, who would suffer the wrath of Mochizuki, although Yagi could never prove it. Umi was left in a catatonic state, unable to speak or perform higher-level brain functions, a fate worse than death. This broke Yagi who, in the end, yielded and was wed to Mochizuki in the spring.

Mochizuki was everything Yagi feared she was and much more. How she knew of Umi was unknown to him, but he suspected his brothers plotted against him as they never opposed any of the changes Mochizuki put forward. At times he would come across them whispering together at the ends of halls in hushed voices, plotting and scheming. But Yagi was the strongest of his brothers and his new wife, they would never challenge him directly, not that this put him to ease anyway. But despite all of this, Mochizuki did give Yagi one good thing in his life, his daughter, Miyazaki Etsuko.

Etsuko was nothing like her mother, so much so that Yagi swore she reminded him of Umi, and he felt the same way with her. Etsuko was the only good thing in Yagi's life; an escape from his abusive wife and stressful job, he didn't even trust his brothers anymore. But Etsuko, to him, was the only good part of him that was untouched by all this blackness. Not only this but she had also inherited the Lighting Elemental Tome, the Miyazaki's Clan greatest asset. Yagi personally made time to train Etsuko himself, taking extra care to make sure Mochizuki could not poison the girl with her venom.

Etsuko grew up in lavish palaces on Earth, educated by private tutors and professors for hours a day. Etsuko found it all very tiring and boring, but the highlight of any day was when Father returned home and, no matter how tired or stressed out he was, he always made time to train with her. But on the days he was away, Etsuko was at the mercy of Mother, these days were truly the worst as Mochizuki knew how to manipulate Etsuko into doing things she didn't want to be disguising it as something the Clan, and by extension her Father needed.

One such time was when she made Etsuko go on a black ops mission by herself to Tarvin-09 without Yagi's permission. A violent mission that forced Etsuko to kill a man Mochizuki told her was an enemy to their House. This was the first life Etsuko took at such a young age and it really did a number on her mentally and emotionally. When Yagi learned of this he was so overcome with rage he nearly killed Mochizuki, stopped only by the elders who cooled him off. However, this incident proved two things to Mochizuki; 1) Etsuko was a capable and able killer, and 2) Yagi was becoming a problem.

On one fateful night, Yagi was disturbed by two figures who broke into his palace and tried to kill him. He unmasked them to find his brothers, Osada and Fujita, finally making their move. He believed Mochizuki was finally making her move on Yagi but they revealed that although they had been plotting with her, this was their move. Mochizuki wanted to dispose of the Miyazaki Clan but they want to rule it, Mochizuki was next.

Together, Osada and Fujita were no match for Yagi, even in their older age. They, of course, knew this and revealed their trump card; Etsuko! They knew how much Yagi loved his daughter and demanded Yagi kill himself on his own sword and vowed to let Etsuko live. With a smile on his face, Yagi apologized to his daughter for being too weak to protect her and took his own life. Etsuko was left with her father's corpse her uncles went to kill Mochizuki next but Yagi still lived. With his dying breath, he gave her one of his katana and forced her to leave him, using his own personal shuttle to escape Earth. Alone in the starship, Etsuko hugged her father's katana and vowed by the River Styx; Osada & Fujita would suffer for this ... and it's going to h u r t!
Education
When Etsuko was 16 years old she had begun making a life for herself as a bounty hunter in the Universe and had become rather good at it over the years. On one such mission, she ended up facing Captain Archer of the Archer pirates on the planet Venus. In her arrogance, she thought she was strong enough to collect his bounty but would quickly regret it. Archer defeated her, cutting her down the torso from her left shoulder to her right-side waist, nearly cutting her in two.
Etsuko's broken body was found at the base of a waterfall by an old Samurai, Saionji Namika, barely alive. She nursed Etsuko back to good health but it wouldn't be another six months, after which she immediately asked the old Samurai for her guidance as her own craft was clearly lacking. Namika reluctantly took the insistent Etsuko on as her student and began improving her skills.
Etsuko remained on Venus with her new master for a little over two years, reconnecting with her roots and rediscovering the path of the Samurai; the Bushido Code. In her years in the Universe, she had abandoned the code but now found it to be her new compass on her quest to avenge her father.

Etsuko has Thalassophobia, the fear of the ocean or other large, deep bodies of water, thanks to a particularly traumatic experience when she was a child. She usually tries to keep a cool exterior and deny her fear but if in a body of ocean she will lock up or begin hyperventilating and may begin panicking if she is in something as large and as a vast ocean. If she has to go under the sea for any reason in a ship or submarine, she will put on a blindfold and headphones before locking herself in a tight, small area until they arrive/ leave the location. Underwater, she is virtually useless.

Etsuko loves to garden in her free time, whenever she and her friends visit a new planet she makes a point to go out and grab new plants or seeds to add to her garden aboard the Fortress of 3 Suns. The garden is huge and supports its own small unique ecosystem which Etsuko finds fascinating. Her most prized plant is the great Kanipuku Tree which sits in the center of the garden, last of it's kind in the known Universe.

Etsuko speaks in a concise and clear tone, she doesn't dance around her point too much and can be a little blunt at times. She doesn't have a short fuse but is quick to get into arguments with the more combative members of her team, especially if they go out of their way to piss her off. When in a fight, she loves to throw around playful banter, for her own amusement or to just get into the enemy's head.

Relationship Reasoning
Etsuko and Har, despite being worlds apart, have similar beliefs and values; strong commitment to family, and maintaining an internal balance through meditation and reflection. Har is blunt and rambunctious while Etsuko is calm and has a dry sense of humor. When the chips are down and all bets are off, there is no one they'd rather rely on than each other.
Relationship Reasoning
When Chijimatsu found out about Hanzō, she immediately tried to save or befriend him, so knew how abusive her mother was and could not imagine what he went through. Hanzō was raised from childhood not trust or like anyone of the Tento Clan and upon meeting Chijimatsu was not interested in making friends. But, in time, they both overcame their problems and built a strong sibling bond together.
Wealth & Financial state
As the Shogun of Earth, Etsuko has a plethora of finical assets at her disposal, and considering that Earth is very closed off to the Universe at large, her family wealth has just been growing and collecting dust. Outside of GEMs that she can spend, Etsuko can also summon aid from Miyazaki Clan Houses, outposts across the Universe who serve her Clan and are honor-bound to aid her in any way they can. However, she does not use this much as she is not comfortable with forcing others to help her out of fear of retaliation from the elders.
