Structures crafted from coral and cavern stones light up the kingdom with its warm and golden glow. The glow emanates through the transparent walls that allow residents to observe the marine life outside. Buildings resemble underwater palaces and transparent domes. It is said that the Crystal Abyss is a convergence of the purest water energies, a place where waterbending reaches its full potential. By submerging one's self into the Crystal Abyss, waterbenders can attain a state of profound enlightenment, feeling the echo of endless waves, which represents the perpetual journey of life. One can then create ripples through these waves and change the world as we know it. The kingdom's location helps solidify this belief among the people. It is also believed that within this realm are water spirits that will guide the individual through the Crystal Abyss, ensuring that they are worthy.
