Geography
Lake Blue is known for its
large interconnected lakes and ancient forests. The lakes are linked by water channels which create unique aquatic habitats. They vary in size, from small ponds to giant bodies of water that
stretch far deep like the ocean floor. Each is surrounded by tall trees and thick fog. Many dangerous creatures take advantage of the forest with its dense trees. To hide from the dangers that lurk in the forests, civilizations thrive underwater beneath the lakes.
Climate
The lakes maintain a temperate climate, providing a
stable and comfortable environment for the creatures below. The water temperature is regulated by underground geothermal vents, ensuring consistent and habitable water. The forest above experiences mild temperatures and regular rainfall.
Mist always finds itself within the forests, through day and night.
Ecosystem
Underwater, the ecosystem is filled with
bioluminescent plants that provide ambient light in the depths.
Different fishes, frogs, ducks, and other water-dwelling creatures and spirits have made the lakes their home. The underwater caves and rock formations provide natural habitats for the underwater life. In the forest above,
the trees conceal various mystical spirits and beasts that lurk within. Many creatures that reside there have learned to enhance their senses to hunt or hide through the trees and fog.
