Helamta Neighborhoods
The Helamta District is a melting pot that is often called Foreigner Town. About a third of the population comes from outside of the Holy Country, including Kralori, Teshnites, Handrans, Fonritians, and even Vadeli. There are even Lunars from the former Moontown. There are over a score of temples and shrines to gods from all over the world, including Calyz, Bodkartu, and Seseine.
Helamta includes the Harbor Square and the Great Market, the largest, richest market not only in Nochet, but across Glorantha. Great trading vessels from everywhere come to dock, sell their wares, and take on other wares for their home ports. All foreign trade comes through this area not to mention goods for export. Green Street, the Way of the Vessels, and the Way of the Quill are always crowded with merchants, porters, and watchful guards.
