An unknown group of assailants make an airborne assault against Vvathaf, especially the Pes District. They are driven off and their motives and goals are unclear.
Several adventurers were summoned discreetly to the residence of Councilor Vedthu Avva to investigate the murder of a political rival before it could become politically embarrassing.
A minor member of the Bvithu - Rap Meithan - asks for help retrieving an important family heirloom of his wife's, which his mistress has taken, apparently mistaking it for a gift. Rap also introduces them to a new member of the party, a half-elven bard named Rhapsody.
The party agrees to assist an apparently wealthy spice merchant with a shipment of spices from Zhækhtu to Vvathaf. Unexpected twists ensue.
Some sort of beast has been terrorizing the farms and villages south of the city. It creeps up in the night with snarls and a cackling laugh and steals away with unwary people, livestock, etc. The stolen people and creatures' ravaged and eaten bodies are found nearby the next morning. So far 3 young children, an old man, 2 cows, a pig, 3 pheasants, and a turkey have been killed in this way.
Overheard in the tavern: "It's not that far away. 'Bout 30 miles out toward the Numuad Hills, it is. Old dwarven trading post, what's fallen to ruins, it has. They say what's on the surface - which ain't much, I'll grant ye - ain't nothin' compared tae what's down under the ground. Ye know them dwarves like tae dig up under the ground. Members of the party respond to a job posting by the Temple of Ron to investigate strange happenings in the Evvinar Graveyard.
The party, having traveled to the Estinos Imperium to investigate a treasure map, came to the dwarven village of Khinzhur, near Brundelium, in hopes of finding information on the dangers present traveling to the ruins. The dwarves agree to share what they know in return for assistance ridding their operations near the Copperlake of a hydra that was plaguing them. The party agrees, nearly dying en masse, but slaying the hydra in the end, winning important information regarding the approaches to the ruins, which they learn are the ruins of the ancient dwarven stronghold of Ghrinzhekk.
The party travels to the ruins of the outpost of Phrezhkkut. Along the way, they fight monsters and battle the environment.
The party returns to Estinople, meets with Aemiliana's mother, and visits the library at the University of Estinople. Then they are ambushed and captured.
The party is led to the Infernium in the Ashmedai complex, meets Fatima al-Ashmedai. A fight breaks out, in which the party prevents her from taking Cipher's remains and drives her away, slaying her assistants.
The party is attacked by horned devils, flees the tavern, steals from a dragon, returns stolen goods to a dragon, and gets a job offer.
As a result of economic hardship brought on by the Sirens' blockade of the entirety of the southern Mare Orientalem, the government of the vast trade city of Vvathaf falls apart. Pockets of the city are still under some control, while others exist in a state of full anarchy.

Adventurers venture beneath the Grand Temple of Alcor in Estinople and slay the enslaved beholder Murxaghan, who was in the service of Tuh-Shenfâdth Lîfidîth.
Estinos Primum, emboldened by the illness of the Emperatrix Mariana, stage a series of simultaneous attacks - one on the palace, in which the present members of the imperial family are slain, one on the Senate, where the loyalists are beaten arrested, and one on the Grand Temple, where a new Mitropolítis is forcibly installed and declared Patris Mundi (Father of the World).
The coup is led by Valerius Lucillius Torascio Iunior, who then styles himself Emperos Valerius Augustus
Tuh-Shenfadth Lîfidîth teleported away suddenly during a council meeting on the 82nd day of Fran in the year 8089, and was never seen or heard from again. Her sudden disappearance created a power vacuum in the social-political fabric of Ãkthun society, and the ancient elvish realm fractured, as a result.
