Fellgrim Forest
Description
The Fellgrim Forest is a sprawling woodland to the north of the Borderlands. It has a deep cultural significance to the elves who once spanned across Gaes.Inhabitants
Because of deep connection to the Feywild, the forest is home to creatures both magical and mundane.Factions
The following factions are currently operating in the forest:- The Immortal Council
- The Order of the White Stag
- The Warlords of Gaea's Teeth
Flora & Fauna
Many magical plants grow in the forest, such as the alliumites' cloves of fate, which are able to bend the luck of their user. Many creatures of the Feywild found their way to the forest through the secret passages only known to the elves. From the suneater bear and sunsprites that terrorized Spring Garden to the nichny that are said to have first welcomed elves to this world, it is difficult to imagine that the Order of the White Stag is not involved in these appearances.Notable Inhabitants
- Keeper, the sentinel of Spring Garden.
- The Bramble King, an elf turned archfey (deceased).
- The Bramble Prince, a troll who stole the Bramble Crown (deceased).
- The Gladekeeper, the leader of the Order of the White Stag.
Locations
The forest holds various small hamlets, hunting lodges, and ancient temples seemingly dedicated to the True Elves. Finally, although camouflaged, there are surely elven shelters aplenty.History
When Iuz first conquered Gaes, he specifically targeted the elves because their longevity allowed for prolonged servitude. If the elves view the Fellgrim Forest as their safe haven today, such a perspective must have started in those darker days. Although the Order of the White Stag largely controls the forest, Kapital has quested many times through their woods, much to their disgust. With the Order of the Stone Gauntlet aiding Spring Garden and Coldmore, the guild absconding with the Bramble Crown, and the non-elf Ravix being called to enter the Temple of the Sun, factional tensions have only grown. The forest is entwined with the Feywild
