Cunningham is a prosperous small town mainly known for its excellent school, Cunningham College . The Order of the Gauntlet was founded here, and some legends even say that the paladins and clerics of the Order cleansed this region of monsters and then built Cunningham with their own hands.The Land
While not near any large forests, there is small game in the woods surrounding Cunningham and some fishermen fish in the nearby Verion River . There are some small farms on the outskirts of the town that also provides the town with some amount of self-sufficiency.The People
The people of Cunningham are well educated and many go on to have successful careers as teachers, historians, religious clergy or other intellectual roles. Every native of Cunningham has the opportunity to receive education at a discounted price. The Order of the Gauntlet also operates in this town. The majority of the population is quite faithful to the God Tyr .The Leadership
Cunningham operates as a Geniocracy, Rule by the intelligent, where well educated intelligent people lead. Leaders are appointed rather than elected. There is a small board of professors and high ranking members of The Order of the Gauntlet who recommend a Cunningham citizen to be appointed as the Governor. The term for Governor lasts 5 years, and the board can always vote on appointing someone else during the term if the governor is seen as unsatisfactory (80% of the vote must be in favor). The paladins of The Order of the Gauntlet act as both the towns law enforcement and protectors. There are roughly 500 active members.Criminals
The town is prosperous, the citizens are all very educated and The Order of the Gauntlet helps to dissuade any criminals, there is barely any crime here.Trade
Cunningham is not known for trade, the economic activity mostly involves religious training and formal education through Cunningham College . Cunningham imports a good amount of food from Myrefall Farmlands and merchants regularly make the trek to Norbury to pick up various supplies.
