Leylandish

Comes from the word for 'low lands' in Leylandish.   The language family from which most Meddlemarkian languages branch from. Flomese, Dandergide, Walloren, Zouerlandish all orginate with Leylandish.   Languages such as Molian, Brassian, Fallowin, Samstradian and Kielan have some roots and loanwords in the language too.

Writing System

Leylandish uses the writing system known as aeguth, characterised by short sharp lines that could be easily carved into stone or bark for use as signposts.
