A New Friend

Abby wen to do some studying on the guide. While he did that the rest of us went shopping. Barg and some of the others found some useful items, but anything I could use was too expensive. Instead I used some of the party funds to buy us some more healing potions.
 
In the middle of the night, we were called to see the Sovergn. We were questioned about Rankle. I made sure they knew he was a good guy with a big heart. Weren't his fault mischief sometimes calls to him. We were placed under house arrest.
 
While locked in the room, a big ol' owl person came in through the window! Seems he and Abby were already acquainted. The owl man goes by the name of Mavinda. Forn we could talk to the newcomer much, the Guide appeared and said the Mavinda is also unbound. The Guide said, "We sought what should not be sought, we changed what should not be changed." Long ago he had been on a mission with his own party and now he's the only one of 'em left. That was over 50,000 years ago. Somehow they created an elder god, Cherumak, who wishes for the loop to continue.
 
After the Guide left, Mavinda said he wanted to pal around with us for a while, but not while we're locked in this room. Said he'll wait on the roof or something. Luckily, we were soon released and told Rankle is alive and OK, but not having a good time.
 
We head toward Ciendres. About two days later, we reached a town called Trixin. THe town was covered in mushrooms. I found some that looked like good eatin' mushrooms... but they weren't. Everyone 'cept me, Arc, and Barg got powerful sick from them. Oops. To add insult to injury, during the night eight mushroom people attacked us. They're all spattered now.
