We found a room with a summoning circle. That was mighty unsettling. We also found a wine cellar, and helped ourselves to a very old bottle of wine. Next there was a room with a hole in the floor.
Once we finished lookin at that hole, we found a room with three pillars, each with two sets of rings with words on them. A puzzle! One set was written in Primordial, so I was able to help with that one. We had to match up the right words. The answer was: "Fate & Compulsion, " Power & Shrewdness," and "Purpose & Potenciality."
That opened a door. On the other side of the door was Nirksi herself and an iron golem. We focused our fire on Nirksi and I think we almost had her down, but then we heard a voice say, "I still have need of this one," and Nirksi disappeared. The golum was walloping us pretty hard. It was clear we couldn't win, so we ran back out the door we came through. Mavinda teleported past it and found a vestibule with a long hallway. We really wanted to inspect all of that but the rest of us couldn't get past that golem. Arc had the idea that we'd all hide around the corner, and he'd shoot the golem til it was incapacitated. It took a while but it worked. I'm glad we did that. We found a bunch of stuff such as: A black robe with three serpents on it, and a chest with a big blue diamond and Nirksi's journal. Her journal started out mighty sad. She had horrible parents who did unspeakable things to her until she killed them both. An Elven woman named Fijur Airmaine sort of became a mentor to her after that. Airmaine taught her magic, and then Nirksi murdered her too. She also spoke of something calling to her. That's how the other room got that hole. She dug until she found the voice. It was Chernumak calling to her. She serves the Fate Lord, but I think we already knew that. The next thing chilled me to the bone. She spoke of being an ally to a black dragon named, "Chradixra," who has recently taken Romania... I don't know how I feel about finding out my greatest foe's name. It's like she's more real now. I don't know if knowing her true name can help me defeat her, but I'll look into it. Then we heard that same voice from before. This time it said, "You Unbound are pathetic. I have defeated you in other cycles and will again." The Guide appeared and said, "You will not manifest here," then vanished. That was that. I sent a message to Blaghin telling her everything and that we were heading to Efildissen. She responded that once there I should wait for further instruction and prepare for more travel. I can't help but hope that travel will take us to or near Romania. I need to end Chradixra. I pray to the Everlasting Flame that I'll be the one to end her.
