I prayed to The Everlasting Flame about the bow. A stag's head appeared on it, so took it as I sign that it was meant for me. I meditated over the bow and made sort of a connection with it. I was right, it's mighty powerful. If there are any adverse effect, I don't know what they are but I'm willing to bet there will be some. Balance.
Apparently Itophi has claimed the tower as her own and told the servants they work for her now. Arc found some potions in a chest. a powerful healing potion and a potion of heroism. He also found a note and a map and said we should follow the map to get home.
Something happened to Arc. He shut down. I checked him out. His core is cracked. I was able to reboot him, but I can't fix him. A demonic looking figure appeared and said it is Arc's god and maker. He said Arc is remarkable but his machinery is breaking down and won't be able to be repaired. The figure said it would be back when Arc's time is up. I don't like that one bit. Surely it can't be true. We just need to get back to Abby. He'll know what to do. We can't lose Arc.
It came time to cross the river. The cost was a memory containing emotion. Mavinda volunteered to give one up.
We came across a serpentine creature with lots of heads. We killed it. Mavinda said it probably wanted to be friends and we shouldn't be so quick to kill things. I don't know when he became such a softy. Maybe it's because everything here is shadowy... Maybe he's just changing.
On another day, we came across three humanoid creatures with webbed claws. At first Mavinda wanted to be friends with them too, but gave up on that when they kept trying to kill us.
