The Arrival (Part 2)
While discussing what to do next, Frank appears from nowhere, rolling onto the deck of the ship in slow motion.
After a quick recap, we decide to investigate the nearby island. While we travel, Rosemary mentions that our situation seems to be remarkably similar to a fictional book called "The Island of Dr Maureau"
We manage to dock the ship near the jetty which appears to have been heavily used.
There island is heavily forested with a mountain at the centre. A road leads to the left and right of the jetty and we take the left-hand path which appears to have been heavily used also.
Interestingly, when we check the tracks on the road, we find strange tracks amongst the normal, booted ones. These tracks look like they have 3 toes and are moving in a bipedal manner.
While investigating the tracks, we feel that we are being watched by something that is making us feel quite uncomfortable.
As we turn to discuss this new development, we notice that Frank is no longer at the rear of the party. from the drag marks on the path, it appears that Frank has been dragged off into the jungle by something.
Darkness is creeping up on us as we head into the jungle looking for Frank. Klaus manages to make a few torches that we use for light as we head deeper into the jungle.
After some time, we start to hear voices around us speaking some sort of guttural, broken English. They sound like they are chanting something.
Frank manages to remove his hood and sees his captors for the first time...... Creatures that appear human but with a variety of animalistic features.
