Hero Hunters

The Hero Hunters is an adventurers guild that works with the many mercenaries and do-gooders that are drawn to Tarteria. They connect people with quests to complete, deliveries to make, and monsters to slay with adventuring parties for a cut of the cost. Hero Hunters quest boards are organized throughout the Queendom of Keeleon.

Description

The Hero Hunters were originally an adventuring group located in Tarteria. As a reward for their actions, this group was granted the Red Manors in the city of Porgorag. These manors were converted by this group into a guildhall facility, and they formed the modern-day Hero Hunters guild.   The Hero Hunters maintain quest boards throughout the Queendom of Keeleon. Many travelers and would-be heroes rely on the many Hero Hunter quest boards for work. These jobs often vary wildly in both difficulty and danger, but with greater risk comes greater rewards and renown, for both the party hired and the guild.   The current leader of the Hero Hunters is Haugon, son of Goll, who is the last surviving member of the original Hero Hunters adventuring group. He operates the guild out of the Hero Hunters Facility in Porgorag. Under his leadership the Hero Hunters continue to strive away from jobs of questionable morality.   At any time, the Hero Hunters are working with a number of different adventuring groups and guilds to complete their quests. The Hero Hunters appear to be largely self-sufficient, and they maintain their own stock of carriages. This has been attributed to Haugon's behavior as a recluse who seems to not trust outside organizations.

Locations

The Hero Hunters maintain quest boards throughout the Queendom of Keeleon. However, their presence doesn't extend beyond the Queendom's borders, as seen by the lack of a Hero Hunters board in Calen Estel.   The guild has their primary guildhall in the city of Porgorag, which is run by Haugon, son of Goll. This facility was converted from the Red Manors in the Grupe's Row section of the city by the original Hero Hunters adventuring group.

History

THE FIFTH AGE: THE AGE OF BEGINNINGS
In 5A 299, during the Winter's Feast celebrations in Porgorag, the oknar granted the Red Manors to the Hero Hunters for their service to the city. These manors would eventually become the Hero Hunters Facility.   At some point before 5A 352, the Hands of Ore secured the contract for the 5A 352 Santeem Republic aid caravan. The Darksteel Foundry began working with the Hero Hunters to arrange adventurers for this caravan.   In the morning of 2 Adroth 5A 352, the party met with Haugon in his manor. They discussed the aid caravan and negotiated a trade with Haugon, who agreed to provide a number of covered wagons in exchange for the party's aid clearing out one of the storage areas of the facility.   These covered wagons departed Porgorag on 4 Adroth 5A 352. They were delivered to the Breakwater Keep in New Keeleon on 12 Adroth 5A 352. They were later found destroyed at the Commandment of Sky Guildhall on 16 Adroth 5A 352.
