A bloody battle resulted in the Reman forces being driven away. But, what remained may have been worse.

The Reman mayor of Sylvanus, Count Orlock was slain by the very townsfolk he tried to rule. A coalition of "freedom fighters", bandits, citizens, and mercenaries struck down Orlock on the battlefield. Sergeant Brannith Marius was critically injured in the battle but did survive. Aryellas and Vex and the other Fae and Goblins fled to the woods. While Lady Helen stayed near to help those escape that could. A Bandit Queen took over leadership of the village but only for a short time.
