This journal has been created out of an old copy of Mean Heat. Inscribed on the first page is a dedication:
To my friend, Volatia.
Keep your humanity, no matter how it changes on you.

Each entry is written on note paper and tucked into the book at random. Keeping it held together is a leather string that looks like it was once a sandal strap. Volatia's journal entries are written in Necril unless otherwise noted.
