Tempus Fugit

Tempus Fugit was the largest city in the populous north-east of the Eal Empire before it fell to the Conclave. The region's primary industry is wheat farming, and the brewing of ales and spirits.

Being on the southern edge of the Mokare region, rumours surrounding the use of fey enchantments in the stronger spirits produced here abound. Whether true or not, the locals prefer to encourage such rumours and the reputation they create.

Schools of the area have a similarly casual atmosphere, and graduates tend to receive an education of...variable acedemic quality. But the school's history has a pedigree Eal has ever been envious of. Most of Eal's temples are adorned with artworks and sculptures commissioned from Fugit universities, and many artists renowned in history such as Tarast and Y'ternio have either lived or studied here. The House of Reason remains the greatest collection of studies on the Conjuration (particularly fey-related) and Transmutation schools in the world, and the list of alumnis of the school of enchantment, the Fugit Incantationis, mentions Rhillaine, Old Gus and Damien Ironbrand.

The weather of the plains here is known to be particularly unstable. Superstorms and tornados are more common here than anywhere except the far east, and the occassional dust-storms that blow in from the south can ruin harvests.
