Mental characteristics
Personal history
Early Life
As with the other Queensbloods, no records remain of ser Alrah's life before joining The Queens' Men. It can be assumed from her position amongst the Queensbloods that she must have originated as the child of one of The Merchant Queens. It is likely that she joined the Queensmen as a teen or young adult, and did not have the benefits of a traditional Squire education.
There are no particular records of her achievements before she rose to the rank of Commander of the company.
Commander of the Queens' Men
Ser Alrah's tenure as Commander of the Queens' Men began in the winter of 442KS following the death of ser Beckett Queensmen. She was elected as commander following two months of polling of the company's members.Service to House Darklyn
Under contract from Hallkatla Darklyn, head of House Darklyn of Darklyn Point and Duchess of the lands Between the Mountains, ser Alrah led The Queens' Men at the head of a coalition of other mercenaries, including The Lost Striders, The War Trunks, The Company of The Third Man and The Comfort Eagles. With the remainder of the Darklyn forces made up mostly of levies drawn from the duchy and neighbouring Baycotte, the experienced and disciplined mercenary companies made up the vanguard of the force.
They were deployed in response to rumours that ser Allon Southbay, one of Hallkatla's Vassals, had been stoking dissent against the Duchess's rule. This was compounded when King Tyon I Cray dispatched members of his The Kingsguard of Tyon I Cray carrying The Royal Standard of House Cray to show his official support of ser Allon.
The Battle of Eastcross
On the morning of the Eighteenth of April as the Darklyn forces approached Eastcross they were met by the The Southbay Forces, resulting in The Battle of Eastcross.During the battle the The Queens' Men found themselves set upon from behind by the turncloak forces of The Lost Striders. Seeking to perform a decisive blow against the defenders and hopefully buy time for her infantry to repel the Striders, ser Alrah led the Queensbloods in a charge against one end of the Southbay line, but between the bills and spears of the line, and a countercharge from Shela Blackwood's Thieftakers, supported by a pack of savage Minmoth, the Queensbloods were repelled and in the ensuing rout half their number, including ser Alrah, were captured by Blackwood.
Ser Alrah and the other Queensbloods were ransomed some days later in a parley between the Southbay forces and ser Cody Karro of The Karro Whacks. The terms of their ransom included a requirement that ser Cody escort them from the field and return them to The Kingdom of Hillhurst, effectively removing both the Karro Whacks and the Queens' Men from the war.
The Tourney at Southbay
At the Tourney at Southbay 443KS ser Alrah rode in the rode in the Seventh Group, being pitted against ser Dania Rocke of The Kingsguard of Tyon I Cray, ser Virginie Locke of House Locke of Riverfoot and the Hedge Knight ser Izenna Ofield. On the first day of jousting she was unhorsed in her first tilt against ser Izenna. On the second day she unhorse ser Virginie in their second tilt. On the third day she unhorsed ser Dania in their first tilt. Although this was a reasonably good showing, and in several other groups might have been enough to go through, both ser Virginie and ser Izenna scored higher overall than ser Alrah, and so she did not advance.
She took this loss well, lifting a cup to the victors when they were announced and continuing to enjoy the festivities of the Tourney and The Festival of the Stormwyrm and continuing to socialise with the other attendees.
Throughout her time in Southbay, except for when she was actively riding in the lists, ser Alrah was accompanied by ser Reylee and ser Blythe Queensmen, two other members of the Queensbloods.
Disappearance
Following the Tourney at Southbay 443KS ser Alrah went missing while exploring the city's docks. She was not seen again.
