Event: Run-in with Triandal
Background
Triandal Qinrieth has been busy doing his own research. After getting his own letter from Livi Ansusho, he set out to find him in Luskan only to be too late.Livi was already killed by a trapped book, but Triandal is furiously combing over what is left of Livi's home to find answers to his original letter. Scared of the Spellbook, Triandal is still trying to piece together shredded documents from Livi's notes.
Intro
Alys Daegeiros finally gets around to going to Deerborne to meet up with Rhistel Faevyre after hearing from Alfric Osuin that they had stopped by in Neverwinter.After arriving in the early evening one day, Alys makes her way to The Creaking Meadery in search of Rhistel. She's a little warry of any dragons due to Alfric's phobia of them, but doesn't really think a Red Dragon would just show up in Neverwinter to just hang around. Will talk for a bit, before she wants to sleep after that long walk from Neverwinter. (Either at The Salty Stag's Rest or the Meadery if invited.)
The next day Alys is much more forthcoming with informaition.
Alfric finally found out where Livi disapeared to. And Triandal may be there as well.She goes on to elaborate that Alfric got an anonymous letter about Livi, and he's been spending time trying to convince the divination department at the NeverWinter Wizard Academy to scry on whoever wrote it. Finally after pulling some strings, he learned that it was written by Triandal and the area he was in was somewhere near "Rat Alley."
Going to Luskan
If the party decides to go to Luskan to find Livi, Reiner Von Hardenberg reminds them they haven't accepted any type of contract. Alys then offers a single gold coin payment to Rhistel (& HFH) on the completion of finding out what happened to Livi (where he is, how he died)"Right, lets go find what happened to Livi. If Triandal is there already, it could be more serious than I thought." -Alys
Dragging Feet
If the party doesn't go to Luskan, Alys gets frustrated at Rhistel, and decides to leave on her own, immediatly heading there."I thought at least you would care enough about Livi to help. Triandal does apparently." -Alys
