Professors

Over the run of The Heretics (of Houndsmoth), the students at Houndsmoth Manor are given the classes they will take by their ominous headmaster: Mr. Houndsmoth.

Each student will take at least two Occupational Courses taught by the eleven professors (listed in sidebar) to prepare for the real-life occupations after Houndsmoth, tailored to their unique OC. These Occupational Courses are the following:

• Rhetoric/Philosophy (taught by Professors Duncan & Fergus)
• Combat/P.E.
• Medical Professions
• Psychology/Business
• Modern Technology
• Trades/Metallurgy
• Chemistry/Biology
• Outdoor Studies
• Languages/Archaeology
• Mathematics, Astronomy & Quantum Physics (MAQ)

The purpose of this system is to hone their students' minds using each professors' unique worldview to their subjects and eventually their professions. Thus creating a unique class of graduates ready to change the world in the image of their headmaster.

For a student to graduate & leave Houndsmoth, they must receive an exit letter from the headmaster. This piece of paper is their ticket into any organization of their choosing, given Mr. Houndsmoth's network of influence.

Some students receive their letters by completing their occupational courses while others can get it simply by asking their professors. The results vary from student to student. What's important is that Mr. Houndsmoth is the one who decides when a student is ready to leave.
