New Gods

Coming into existence following the end of the Dragon Tyrant's empire, the New Gods were not created, but mortal souls who ascended to godhood through unknown means. The exact manner remains unknown, and while the New Gods may not come from divinity, their powers are fully capable of equally or surpassing the Old Gods. This fluctuation in power is a result of these Gods drawing strength from their followers. The more believers & worshippers a New God has, the greater their powers. As a result, the greatest fear for a New God is to be forgotten.
As their existence is directly tied to their mortal worshippers, New Gods are considerably more likely to become directly involved in mortal affairs. Some will even walk among their followers, offering them guidance and support. And sometimes, they just want to have fun.
