Wereravens
Basic Information
Anatomy
When transforming into the non-human forms, the being grow feathers from its skin, which slowly turn into large wings (allowing them to be proficient in aerial combat). In this process, the arms will move downwards to accommodate the wings, whilst the mouth transformes into a beak.
Biological Traits
Male Wereravens are generally larger than females and are able to grow facial hair. Female Wereravens are able to produce milk from their breasts and are the ones that give birth. Wereravens are forced to change into their hybrid form when exposed to moonlight, but experienced Wereravens are able to change into hybrid form at will. Wereravens are also able to rapidly heal wounds as long as it wasn't made from using silver.
Genetics and Reproduction
Wereravens reproduce sexually and are viviparous, they typically have a gestation period of 9 months. Wereravens can create new Wereraven by biting another humanoid, if the victim doesn't get treated before the next full moon, they will become a Wereraven.
Growth Rate & Stages
Wereravens from infancy take 4 years to reach childhood and from there it takes 14 years to reach adulthood, at the age of 18 a Wereraven is considered a young adult. A Wereraven who reaches the age of 30 is considered an adult and at the age of 60 they are considered to be elderly.
Ecology and Habitats
Wereravens mostly live in tropical, temperate, polar or cold areas like rocky areas, shrublands, forest, mountains, grasslands, woodlands, montane forests and rainforests.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Wereravens prefer a vegetarian diet, usually feasting on nuts and berries instead of meat which is quite rare amongst Werebeasts.
Biological Cycle
As time progresses Wereravens age, eventually their bodies will reach a point where they can no longer sustain themselves and will eventually die. However, they live much longer lives than some other races such as Humans.
Behaviour
Wereravens are careful and secretive, but always abide by local laws and try to do good whenever possible. They are generous and selfless, but also enjoy collecting shiny baubles.

Social Structure
These Werebeasts usually live in family groups called "kindnesses", each containing two to eight Wereravens, and made a huge effort to hide their kin from society. Typical ravens would serve Wereravens, protecting them and serving their needs.

Wereravens in human form have a pair of eyes, that come in various colours such as blue, green and brown, and ears with one nose and mouth, male Wereravens are able to grow facial hair.
Wereravens in hybrid form have a raven head with similar features that a raven would have.

Conservation Status
Because the raven is a sacred animal of the King of Gods, Wereravens are considered children of the King of Gods, which is why it is severely punished by the King of Gods if a Wereraven is murdered.

Average Physique
The average Wereraven physique in humanoid form is lean and only slightly muscular. However, their physique can vary from being fatter, thinner and/or muscular. Wereravens in hybrid form are very muscular with long limbs.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Wereraven skin colour ranges from pale to dark brown, Wereraven hair colour ranges from red, blond, brown, white, grey and black.
A Wereraven feather colour in hybrid form is always black but a few feathers on the head and tail will match their hair color in human form.
