The Trench of Lethe (Lee-thee)
Overview
A massive, deep trench off the Nausicaan Archipelago. Here is where the sea titans Phorcys and Ceto were finally sealed away after raiding the surface with their monstrous children, including hydras, chimeras, gorgons, and sirens. The trench now swarms with cetea of all kinds and is theorized to be their point of origin. Largely avoided and unexplored, even by the nymphs.Localized Phenomena
It is said that the deeper one swims into the trench, the more of themselves and their history they forget, until, bit by bit, there is nothing left of the person who dove into Lethe.
