House of Jackalslicer (Area of Concern: Medicine)
One of the eight non-human noble families, the Jackalslicers are a family of Hobgoblin clerics. According to the Peerage of the Second Court, they worship The Poor Man, although it is possibly significant that the constillation of Conscript Hodge, the Walking Wounded is a Hobgoblin deity.

Vizier and Viziera
Vizier Saif Jackalslicer: If only by default, Vizier Saif Jackalslicer is one of the less awful Viziers in the noble court. Although not a worshipper himself, he allows his wife, Viziera Atkin Jackalslicer, and his second son, Katib Fennec Jackalslicer to worship the forbidden deity from the Goblin Pantheon, Conscript Hodge, the Walking Wounded. Although not a follower of the Conscript's Battalion, Saif is still a pacifist - despite having an almost ridiculous amount of firepower at his disposal should he need it.Viziera Atkin Jackalslicer: Extremely proper and refined, Viziera Atkin Jackalslicer is extremely aware of her family's precarious position at court. At least around others, Atkin puts in a lot of effort to dress and present herself according to the Human standards of beauty. She corsets her larger Hobgoblin waist, and wears kitten-heels that align her posture with the other female nobles and raises her short stature to closer to their level. But despite this, she is also a cultural follower of Conscript Hodge, the Walking Wounded, at least on the holy Day of Leave, and her pet "war horse", Called By Duty, is secretly the loyal horse of Conscript Hodge herself.

Subvizier Osiris Jackalslicer: Soft-spoken, careful Subvizier Osiris Jackalslicer is very aware of how he and his family are perceived by the court.Subviziera Veralyn Jackalslicer: Osiris's wife, Subviziera Veralyn Jackalslicer, is a Goblin and the twin sister of Viziera Paddypaw Ratrider, of the Jackalslicers' allied house, the House of Ratrider.
Vizier's Other Children
Katib Fennec Jackalslicer: The "spare" son of the Jackalslicer family, Katib Fennec Jackalslicer is a sweet kid who is easily led astray. He is extremely succeptable to peer pressure and the youngest member of Cody's Gang. Secretly a cleric of Conscript Hodge, the Walking Wounded, Fennec is not only a healer for the gang but also a pacifist - which is laughable given the gang's propensity towards wanton violence.Katib Dogson Jackalslicer: Eleven-year-old Katib Dogson Jackalslicer is generally too young to attend court. He and the youngest Ratrider kids, Katib Bongo and Katiba Swomp Ratrider, are often seen socialising with Katiba Scarlett Dargent, and little Katiba Cid Mason since they are all roughly the same age.
