Gaius Agueleilles

Gaius is a satyr cleric of Gafsyn living in Goldenfields. He is a friend to all who are there, and is a junior member of the Emerald Enclave. He doesn't care for raiders or those who would attack settlements, such as giants.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Gaius is in good physical condition, with broad shoulders and a toned body. As a satyr, he has the legs of a goat as well as goat-like horns. He has hair brushing down his chest leading to his goat legs, as well as a thick brown beard.

Apparel & Accessories

Gaius sometimes wears a nice button-up shirt if he is in the mood to look more presentable than usual. He also wears reading glasses. His rucksack is an emptied turtle shell in which he uses to store his medicinal solvents and herbal remedies. He also keeps a naggin of vodka there.

Personal history

For many years, Gaius had prayed to the divine Gafsyn to let him escape the Feywild. He hated the way of life there, only surviving thanks to his enchanted wagon, Bethany. Because of Bethany, he was able to hide during the Satyr-Siren War. A few years after the war, his good deeds to the refugees and survivors were rewarded when Icarus became the ruler of the Feywild and Morgana LaFey was toppled from her position of power. Icarus allowed several hundreds of the Feywild citizens to leave and start to make new homes in Terra Caelum, and Gaius was one of them.
He travelled from place to place, and though the Alliance was making the west a better place, after living under the iron fist of Morgana he preferred the lack of rules and regulations in the east. The east is made for people who are hardy enough to survive on their own- and Gaius possessed that ability.
He joined the Emerald Enclave in 8007, and in 8008 he was staged in Goldenfields for the months of June and July, after which he was simply happy to stick around for while. It was here that he met Jayden, Dirk, Caity and Cathy Allbright and Binchild Goldcoin. After the Attack on Goldenfields, he was curious about what was riling the giants up so much. He also pledged Bethany to their cause, updating the interior to adjust for their rooms.
Along the way to Minyahr, the wagon was attacked by the ice wizard Felsa, who the party had stolen from.

History

Gaius met Dirk at the same time as the other adventurers. He met Dirk in the dungeon east of Goldenfields, where Dirk was injured as a result of the Dragonborn Virus spreading up his arm. Already pledging himself to that adventuring party as a healer, he now tries his best to keep Dirk safe and keep the virus from spreading any further. Gaius is... fond of the man, charmed by his Uthgardt ways.

History

It was because of Jayden that Gaius joined the adventuring party. Gaius pledged himself to them as a healer, saying he would devote himself to healing them, as he respected them and shared the goal of finding the cause for the giants attacking settlements during the Storm King's Thunder.
