I can't believe it, it's Summer Camp once again! It's been 3 years since I started my worldbuilding career here on WA, and this is the 4th time I'm proud to join such massive inspiring event!

What's different this year, though, is that I'm so busy for the past few months, mostly about my future. Anything can slide out of view in a moment, but that can't be my exception to not participate. I'm not gonna miss anything.

Part I: Summer Pledge

Motivation

Summer Camp is my favorite event. Not only I can produce tons of articles I cannot do in regular time, but also let me wrote something wirrd, making my worlds became juicier and tender like I've never done before! Such great moments.

Let me tell you something..

When I first joined the Summer Camp in 2019, I'm able to complete the Copper badge. It's fun but also gave me an idea: Let's try getting every type of Summer Camp badge!

It was until I found a harsh reality, that for the past 2 years I missed the potential goals by only one prompt! Although I was satisfied with what I've done it would be fun to watch on the profile page, right? :P

Creative Goals

Terraloga

Valonia Empire need some major progress once again - this time against Irgia Republic. Due to the nation as my main character, every small actions are to overcome a bigger obsecle. I might be going to write the perlude by the end of June.

C.S.E.

Delay for several years due to confusing concept, maybe it's time for the loosed galactic superpower to become a reality. If there is a prompt for such an idea I will definitely do a dedicate article about it.

Maybe I should do it beforehead?

Exotic Program

Let's focus on character this time.

There's something involving Cheryl West, one of my main protagonist. I've written her for so long I kind of forming a bond. I even have a seperated profile I somehow did during freetime.

Challenge Goal

I recently find myself writing any article passed 500 to 1k words, and able to create the type of articles I like to avoid. This can be an opportunity to finish the event in time.

Diamond is gonna be mine! If something goes wrong in July, I may let it gold.

Part II: Summer Themes

This is great when they add the themes! Last year I manages to create several articles that turned out to be fantastic. This year, though, I'm going to plan a short description of what world should I focus, and some ideas that may suit themes.

Expanses

Plenty of planets and systems are important to the Confederation State of Earth. 6 major nations aka the Major Six have the most political power. Other worlds would be about geographic features.

Not only I can understand the origin of anything human may did, it also like it's a guide for crating history from scratch! Highly recommended it.

Foundation series by Issac Asimov

Many concepts I came up with are simillar to this masterpiece. What a coindidence and I loved it upon reading.

This Comic

I would like to say this is my biggest childhood inspiration. A collection of sci-fi comics from the competition which still stuck in my head to these day. I got one but it was so rare to find in retail store due to its limited prints.

Video Games

Gaming is part of my life as well, especially sandbox genre. I considered them as one of my primary tools to worldbuild because while I'm playing them I was able to come up with new stories, maps, and names.

Part IV: Summer Plan

It was such a hot mess to what I've been for the past few months. Many things started to collapse before my eyes and I'm so scared about my future, and that's what I have to overcome before the end of July.

Schedule

Despite the summer break the first half of the month I'll be so much busy, so I'm going to write between either the afternoon or the night or both, around three hours each. I'm going to write the whole day during weekends.

Equipments

After the family crisis last year, me and my sister moved our desktop to her bedroom to keep more personal and safe. The spec was reduced so that might benefit me as I don't have to worry about playing video games during my writing sessions.

Support

I've found so many great people in World Anvil Discord, even though I initially joined for newsletters and showcase my works, I've ended up getting new friends. The community is so lovely and chilling I would like to be more active during prime time, doing some word sprints and discussing whatever topics they're talking, which might be very fun!

The only problem is a timezone, which is in the middle of the night. I may not interact much but if you see me sending emojis, you know I always there ;-)
