Most common intelligent race in
Tethys. Humans are a varied race with many distinct geographical features. While biologically they might be alike, they vary much culturally. The "Old World" Humans refers to humans that were in the
Old World at the start of the
Third Age, Kingdoms and migrated to many other places. Unlike other variations, their genes weren't changed due to some magical experiment or divine intervention like the
Goldblood Humans,
Seljuk Humans,
Islander Humans or
Dragonblood Humans. Thus by many they are considered the "pure" version of humanity, even if the Goldbloods and Dragonbloods are considered more cousins of the species, not direct descendants, the Old World variety is treated as the main human variation. They numbers are the highest and while "Old World" Humans do not need to live in the Old World, they can be found in
Venland, the
Archeon Islands or
Arakhor, they are rarely called Old Worlders by many, preferring the normal call of "you human."
On Tethys
As the most numerous race, they can be found anywhere where there is civilization. Most of them are in the Old World but you can find a human or two even in the most isolated of places. They are attributed to the creation of
Magitech and building the greatest empire the world ever saw, the
Archadian Empire. They vary enough that you can find a human in any profession that is imaginable.
First World
The
First World saw their own humans as saviors, who freed the many races from the tyranny of giants and like on Tethys, they were the most numerous there as well.
