Blacksmith

If you are the Blacksmith, you work in the forge, and live in a small cottage beside it. Your duties are as you'd expect in a farming community, but additionally, you fashion and maintain whatever hand-to-hand combat weaponry is deemed necessary for the defense of the island.
You have a trade deal with the mainland, and likely also sit on the Council to advise in this regard.
There is only one Blacksmith, but there are assistant and apprentice blacksmiths. Very occasionally, the Blacksmith will take on casual labour for a specific job.
