If you work in fishing, you live in a small cottage by the sea, and spend your days bringing home as good a catch as you can haul in. There are several captains who own their own boats. The fleet collaborates to ensure fairness. You might just be someone who works on a crew, either full time or as casual labour alongside other casual jobs. The island is currently part of an agreement with the mainland that gives both an equal right to fish in all waters, so you share the same areas with trawlers from the mainland. Alongside the shepherds, fishers are also responsible for the defense of the island, each respectively taking the lead if battle is on land or at sea. If you own your own boat and have been selected by your fellows, perhaps you sit on the Council to represent the fishers in the community.
