Tarin Newguard
General of Tempus' Legion, Commander of the Order of the Steel Fang Tarin Newguard
Tarrin Newguard is the current head of Tempus' Legion and commander of the Order of the Steel Fang. He was the right hand and protégé of the great knight Simiro Sairtora. Despite being the general of Tempus' Legion, Tarin is not a champion of Tempus.

Personal history
Tarin enlisted into Tempus' legion when he was young and was quick to prove himself. His skill caught the eye of the then general Simiro Sairtora. At Simiro's request, Tarin become the generals personal squire. Under the great knights tutelage, Tarin learned many of the crucial skills of being a leader. Before long Tarin was promoted to captain and later to commander and ultimately served as Simiro's second in command. The two were instrumental in the preparation for the The War That Never Was and were the key strategist during The Convergence
The Convergence acted as a great test for Tarin's leadership but he held strong. His strategies proved himself a great leader and through his heroic deeds on the battlefield he also won the favour of his men. However, the battle at the Marrow field changed things. Thousands died, including Tarin himself. Tarin was thought to be past the point of saving, but not long after the convergence ended he awoke. He wanted to finish the war with Pirànjù but was denied by High King Nervack Proudmourn who wanted to for peace. Enraged by this, Tarin and a group of men killed a Xian Shun diplomat in Vaross in an attempt to restart the war. As a result, warship of Tempus was outlawed.
