Tree'skivo
Tree'skivo was a previously small town which against the general trend of the times, grew rapidly at the beginning of the Pax Helsporan until it was granted a city charter by Helsporan in 2973 AF.
The city population was swollen by emigrants moving south from the abandoned cities of Ulkvass and Keldramys and also acquired residents from a wide local area where smaller settlements were falling into disuse, all due to the Emptying of Earth.
Government
The Protectorate of Tree'skivo is responsible for managing a large area of mostly underpopulated lands that surround the city. The Protector's Council is made up of representitives from the neighbouring settlements, including Anoomenon. Although it has a great deal of autonomy over the day to day running of the city and local economy it is ultimately answerable to the Pax Helsporan.
Infrastructure
Tree'skivo has docks on the river Skivo and ocean going ships can trade directly with the city, even though the main channel is not deep enough to support the largest type of vessels that were common in earlier ages.
Airships connect Tree'skivo with Equatoria and Helsporan, travelling from the airport on the eastern side of the city centre.
History
In 3160 AF, Anoomenon petitioned to join the Protectorate of Tree'skivo, losing its independence for the first time in over 3000 years of post foundation history.
Geography
The city sits at the junction of the rivers Treem and Skivo which is the limit of navigation for ocean going ships. The area is fertile and the climate is relatively benign.
