Void Dragon
Void dragons are a species of dragon, and one of the seventeen main dragon types.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Void dragons have the same basic anatomy as any dragon. Void dragons' horns lie mostly flat above and behind their head. Their wings are significantly larger than most dragons. Additionally, the webbing of their wings seems to be made not of flesh, but of an infinite supply of void liquid that drips from within their wings. Void dragons' spines are curved spikes.
Genetics and Reproduction
Growth Rate & Stages
Dragons mature very quickly at the start of their life, both physically and mentally. As time passes, this growth slows to a normal rate, and stays that way for the rest of their lives. During the first six years or so, dragons will grow at an incredible rate.
Ecology and Habitats
Void dragons live exclusively in the Void.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Void dragons do not require food. Their only limitation on energy is that they must return to the Void every 24 hours to "recharge" via its atmosphere, otherwise they will get tired, lose their will to live, and eventually die from lack of energy.
Behaviour
Void dragons are shrouded in mystery. In all things, they remain neutral, never showing their emotions, speaking but a few words in any given conversation, and then disappearing back into the void, for who knows how long. They are distrusted by almost every race and species of dragon. Void dragons seemingly have no interest in making allies of any kind.
