Underdark Entrance

The entrance to the Underdark in the Elven Forest just north of the city of Elothil is hidden from plain sight. It is a small opening in the ground, located at the base of a large oak tree, that leads into a narrow passageway.
As one descends into the Underdark, the air grows cooler and damper, and the sounds of the forest above fade away. The passageway widens into a larger cave, illuminated only by a few scattered bioluminescent fungi. The walls are rough and jagged, and the ground is covered in loose rocks and debris. The sounds of dripping water echo through the cave, and the occasional scurrying of small creatures can be heard.
As one ventures further into the Underdark, they will encounter more caverns, tunnels, and passages, each with its own unique features and dangers. It is a dark and treacherous realm, full of unknown dangers and hidden treasures. The first and uppermost layer of the underdark is called the Upperdark.
