Ambush on Hala

In order to eleminate the threat of the Phalanx, the Utopians realise that Genis-Vell must be deposed. However, they are concerned that doing so will result in a power vacuum in the Kree Imperium and tip the Kree Civil War in favour of the Sons of Koth.

Using K'kyy's shapeshifting powers, they lured the leaders of both factions to peace talks outside Kree-Lar. However, unbeknownst to all factions, the Phalanx had become autonomous and converted Dr Eve.

In the resulting massacre, many high ranking members of both the Inperium and SOK were killed, including Inndig-O. The massacre also marked the beginning of the Phalanx Uprising, which would result in the destruction of Hala.
