Born to Tiutme SoylaFey woman, his father is Soül Soyla the Portal Master who brought Tiutme to Miyla from Shinia. Although Raga grew up knowing Soül he didn't know that Soül was his father until he was much older. He and his mother settled in Tichenfdt Ronnts a small village at the foot of The Waves by the ruins of Ubudongiu. Raga helped the village by looking after and protecting the children of the village before deciding that he wanted to join the army to protect more people.   After five years from Sürl Dussch Raga came back to Nyiltokti as a Mercenary where he ran into an old friend who hired him to help Kezedfrunch bomb a Konn Prünnzu Tradtar.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Raga's body is fit and lean due to having worked at a ranch during his formative years and his military training when he joined up with the Black Wing Army. His skin appears as though he has vitiligo however what causes his skin to appear this way is because of Dragon genetics.   The other condition that affects his appearance is Pfussä Pünntwa which he got for going through Gugng Pfussä Fröckdt Sähnli. It changed how his eyes look by adding more yellow pigment to them since Konn Prünnzu is yellow. Raga has minor Konn Prünnzu Rienblei.

Body Features

He is tall, thin, and muscular with not many signs of having had Konn Prünnzu Rienblei which is a side effect of Pfussä Pünntwa. His appearance is not just on his face but throughout his body. Raga prefers to cover most of his skin because of this condition.

Facial Features

Raga has wide pointed eyes that are blue with green in them because of the Konn Prünnzu that is in his system. His nose is thin and does not have any patches on it. His cheeks both have pale patches on his otherwise dark skin with a patch appearing on the right side of his neck. The patch on his right cheek also overlaps with his mouth and chin a bit.

Identifying Characteristics

Raga's vitiligo-like patches throughout his body are a quick way to identify him since his father was a dragon Raga's skin mimics Shifter Dragon patterns.

Physical quirks

Raga is right-handed and holds himself properly with good posture. He rarely smiles and appears couasious around people keeping his guard up.

Special abilities

Magical Abilities

One that is unique to Raga is that he is immune to magical sleep spells such as Peaceful Sleep which will kill the person that it is cast on at some point. Raga can resist being charmed and can't be put to sleep with magic allowing him to concentrate on his spells and other attacks. Raga is used to casting spells in dangerous scenarios so he doesn't lose concentration on his spells all that much.   Raga is good at using magic and his best magical ability is fire spells, other magic that he is good at is Necromancy but he doesn't perform very often. One of the Necromancy spells that Raga uses rarely is that when slays someone he bine the spirit as a specter that obeys is verbal commands. This ends when the ghost is dispelled or when Raga rests.   Due to his Warlock Pact he can use ice spells and other such dark spells. Raga's Pact Magic, he knows various Warlock in addition to normal spells. These new types of spells require charisma-based skills such as performance and deception. To use these spells Raga uses his Mysterious Bangle as a focus for spellcasting. Raga's spellcasting is fueled by fragments of forbidden knowledge that have imbued him through his bangle adding to his magical abilities. This knowledge comes from his Ancient Dragon patron.   Another gift that Raga has been given by his patron is being a Master of Hexes which allows Raga to apply his curses from a creature that died due to the curse to another creature within range. The gift Raga uses the most is not a combat ability instead it allows him to spend a minute entreating his patron for aid allowing Raga to restore his magic without resting. He can do this once per day and even though it is one of the useful gifts he only uses it on combat-heavy days.   One of the spells at Raga's disposal is Mage Armor which he can do without exhausting his magic that much. On Raga, the spell looks like a shadowy mist coming from his normal armor. He usually chooses to do this if he feels he is in danger.   A magical ability that Raga doesn't advertise having is Ghostly Gaze. After taking a short rest Raga can focus his magic to see through solid objects for a short time.   Raga can cast psychic damage on a target with one of the various curses or hexes that he knows. He can also draw on his Black Wing heritage by imbuing his weapons with fire or acid making him a dangerous opponent. He also has some resistance to the elements associated with the Black Flight.   Raga's service to his patron has given Raga some gifts such as a pact that is centered around weapons. He can use the magic of his pact to create weapons that will show up in his hand. Raga can also make another magical weapon his pact weapon with a ritual if he wants to.

Physical Abilities

Raga has proficiency with medium armor, which is leather-based and enforced, shields, and martial weapons. Once a day Raga brushes up on his knowledge of one of his weapons to have better proficiency when using that weapon. Recently Raga has been favoring the Shield Blade which can be used as both a weapon and a shield.   He typically uses pact weapons conjured through the bangle he wears and these weapons further help focus Raga's spellcasting. The weapons that have this effect are his short bow, long bow, light crossbow, or heavy crossbow. Sometimes when Raga strikes an opponent with one of his pact weapons his opponent takes additional necrotic damage.   As a Wild One Fey Raga can see in the dark with shades of gray. This ability feeds into his magical ability of Ghostly Gaze.

Apparel & Accessories

Raga wears the Black Wing Army Schällk Fröckdt uniform that is red armor over the chest, gauntlets, belt, and shoes. The rest of the uniform on the top is gray and has two straps that tuck under the arms. The pants are cargo pants with some pockets. Raga's outfit is missing one-shoulder armor and the helmet but that doesn't stop people from identifying him as a member of the army or in his case a former member.

Specialized Equipment

Raga has a Mysterious Bangle that allows him to create various weapons that he uses in combat. Raga can summon weapons with the bangle such as a dagger, a short bow, and a Shield Blade.   He carries some Focus Crystals which he uses to cast multiple spells at once. Other tools that Raga has are a small knife, crowbar, hammer, a steel mirror, a flask of oil, a tinderbox, and a wooden stake.   Raga is not without his journal that he uses to record his thoughts and memories, however, when Raga is asleep the journal records his dreams. The book seems to never run out of pages and Raga can use magic to flip to various entries. With the journal, Raga has various pens to write with. Written on some pages are the spells that Raga knows.   Raga also has one change of clothes that is not the armor that he can wear when not in combat while working as Mercenary. The clothes are rather simple and are comfortable so the clothes can be worn to bed.   Among his more curious positions, he has a small bag of sand, a flask of Ley Rich Water, manacles, and the holy symbol of Qaydith. Raga has an odd trinket that seems to be haunted by various deaths.   Raga has lived in the wilderness and among the high society of the Shifter Dragons of Bridt Sche and has good instincts to survive regardless where he is. He can hunt, gather, and deal with various threats in the wilderness. In addition, he is good at various combat so he can survive in dangerous settings. For high society, Raga survives by blending in and knowing how to act. Most of Raga's survival tactics outside of camping and fighting blend into the social circles he is interacting with. Due to this, he comes off as being neutral or two-faced.

Personal history

Raga has a complicated history and is made even more complex with blank spots in his memory. Not being able to completely tell what are his memories and what are just bad dreams. Here is Raga Soyla's History as a timeline for the spark notes of his history. The rest of this section goes into more detail about the different parts of life were like.

Childhood

"Let's name our son Raga." Tiutme said as she rocked her son sitting in her chair.   "It's better than the name I had in mind." Soül said.   "What name?" Tiutme asked.   "A cold name compared to yours. Maybe the name you picked will bring him better fortune." Soül said.
Raga was born in his father's house in Nyiltokti. Raga's mother, Tiutme, started to worry about her son not growing up in the country. Since Tiutme was a Wild One, a kind of Fey that likes to live in deep forests, she wanted her son to know nature. Soül sent his wife and son to a village near The Waves that was called Tichenfdt Ronnts that was by the ruins of Ubudongiu. Tiutme started a tavern and raised her son in the country.   Due to miscommunications Raga thought his father was a Chlai Fey not Soül. Raga spent most of his childhood not knowing that he was Half-Dragon only learning this when he was teenager after the Siege of Dōhoktaekhoz.   One event in Raga's childhood that always stood out to him. It was a fall morning and winter was coming quickly. Raga was twelve by human timekeeping. It was on this day that an archaeologist came to the Waves. The archaeologist learned about a tomb that was off of the path. This scholar wanted to find the tomb and learn more about the history of the Waves. Raga's mentor a guide to the Waves agreed to take the scholar. Raga of course got to come along despite the protest of Tiutme.   When the tomb was found the guide stayed outside to watch the Waves while Raga went into the tomb with the scholar. The scholar found a coffin inside the tomb, and lying inside the coffin were two skeletons. One was a male skeleton and it was a Zapriu Ussa, snake person that was blessed by the old god, Qaydith. The other skeleton was female possibly Ērā Heyḥa.   As the scholar started taking pictures and notes Raga heard his mentor talking to someone outside. No one could have followed them into the Waves. Unless a Dragon dared to enter the Waves through Portal Magic. Raga turned around to see the guide following behind a strange man. The man, who was called Schaudteif, grabbed the scholar and threw him away from the coffin before shutting it. Schaudteif was yelling at the scholar and scolding him for being a graverobber.   Schaudteif did allow the scholar to study the tomb for a while. During this week Raga became friends with Schaudteif. Raga started to look up to Schaudteif as a mentor of sorts. He even started looking forward to Schaudteif's visits. Raga started to see Schaudteif as a father figure.      

Teenage Years

"What did you call him?" Cuanrge asked. He paced back and forth in front of Tiutme. "Do you what he looks like?!"
While a young teenager Raga met his uncle, Cuanrge who had tracked his sister from Shinia, the realm of Elves, to the realm of Dragons, Miyla. Cuanrge was happy to find his sister but became angry after learning about Raga. Cuanrge knew who Raga's father was, the Dragon Soül. Raga never could figure out why his uncle didn't like him but he did hear many loud arguments about it in a language he didn't quite understand.   Tiutme asked her brother to teach Raga archery and Cuanrge agreed. Archery came easily to Raga as it usually does to the Wild Ones. Cuanrge was pleased with how quickly his nephew learned. The lessons were hunting trips and would be difficult for Raga because Cuanrge would beat Raga every night claiming that his blood was cursed. Raga never told his mother about what his uncle did. After all, Tiutme was so happy to see her brother again. Raga didn't want to cause trouble in his small family.   Schaudteif would come to visit often one day Raga was serving in the tavern while Schaudteif was visiting. Out of the blue Schaudteif asked Raga why he was limping. Raga refused to answer at first but Raga did cave and told about how his uncle beat him. Schaudteif listened quietly while Raga spoke.   About a year or two later Raga met Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser a unique combat unit with four members. The leader was Azrimor Mäpwüsofdt who was a war hero and other members were Alls Uchdt, Kao Venkaprja, and Schlurf Fodt.

The Border

Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser were on leave and they decided to hire Raga for a tour of the Waves. At this point, Raga was about sixteen years old by the count of humans and could lead people through the Waves on his own. Raga at first was stand-offish with Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser but Alls and Kao stayed friendly and brought Raga into their group. They saw him as a little brother.   Schlurf Fodt while looking through his camera at the campsite showed Raga a photo of the Portal Master, Soül, holding a baby that looked like Raga. Raga was confused and in denial when Schlurf said that Raga was Half-Dragon and Soül's son.   While at an overlook Azrimor's phone started to ring which he answered. The others talked about the war that was going on and that a Golden Flight city, Dōhoktaekhoz was being sieged nearby at the comment of an Ancient Dragon. Azrimor got off the phone and told everyone that they now needed to cross the Waves to the city Dōhoktaekhoz, because Kaan Pfussäwinn had taken the city.   After a week the group made it to Dōhoktaekhoz where they found Kaan in the former lord's house with the lord's son, Doyu Nuktae. Azrimor believed that the city should be given to the state and Kaan believed that the city should remain in the ownership of the House Pfussäwinn. The others finally asked the two brothers to ask a third party to help them conclude so they could get back to their vacation. The brothers asked Soül for help who decided to divide the city into three parts.   First, the ruling district to Bridt Schtricksüker the state so the government could bring Black Wing Flight laws to the city. Second, the business district would be more controlled by House Pfussäwinn. The third district would be the historical district and it would be controlled by House Soyla. That way people could travel between Dōhoktaekhoz and Tichenfdt Ronnts through the Waves.   Before the Portal Master could leave Raga ran over to him and asked, "Am I your son?" Soül sighed and told Raga that he was indeed Raga's father. The Portal Master then opened a portal and went back to the city. Raga then leads Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser back through the Waves.

Cave in the Waves

There was a task that Raga had to do as a Wave Guide. This task was to go to all of the campsites to reinforce the magic that protected them which was normally done by a single Guide and they would sometimes have to map out the Waves. That way they could point out new landmarks to those they were guiding.   Raga was doing the task this time around and he noticed that there was a new cave directly off of the path. Raga first went to the next campsite and left his Jiebo Meelacha before going to the cave. He placed a magic marker to point toward the campsite and with a deep breath, Raga entered the cave. He needed to make sure that there were no Giant Spiders or Drider living by the path to protect the tourists. If he found any giant spiders he would have to remove the spiders.   The passage got smaller and smaller, but Raga crawled through it. He finally made it to the larger chamber of the cave. Raga stood up brushing himself off looking around to be surprised to find a green cave with a waterfall, a pool of water, and the sound of waves.
"The magic in this cave is stable. I bet I can pratice magic here without setting off the mountains." Raga mused. He stretch out his hands and felt magic pool around his fingers.
Raga started to practice magic by balancing Destruction and Restoration. Later experimenting with Illusion and Alteration. While he wove the magics the grass sighed and Osuchi was woven into the cave. Raga lowered his hands and looked around smiling at the flowers while hearing an odd portal open behind him. Before he could turn around Raga found himself thrown on the ground. When he looked up he saw a strange man yelling at him.
"Who are you and how did you get in here?" the man shouted.   Raga sat up and replied, "There was a cave by the path in the Waves. I needed to make sure that the cave was safe to pass by. Who are you?"   "You don't know me?" the man asked. He seemed to calm down as he helped Raga to his feet.   "Should I know who you are?" Raga asked.   "Praphes not. I am called Qaydith." the man said.
Qaydith told Raga that the flowers were beautiful and apologized for pushing him. Raga tells Qaydith that he doesn't have a place to practice magic and thought that he use the cave. Qaydith gave Raga a key to come back to the cave to practice his spells whenever he wanted. Raga thanked Qaydith and woke up back at camp thinking it was a dream until he saw the key still in his hand. Raga would go to the cave to practice magic and he became friends with the mysterious Qaydith.

Coming of Age

The Portal Master, Soül Soyla placed his hands on his son. Soül's grip looked tight and firm, but Raga could feel otherwise. In a loud voice Soül proclaimed with mock pride, "This is my son. I have called him Raga and now the Flight will know him as Raga Soyla."
A few weeks later Raga and Tiutme went to the city, Nyiltokti. Soül explained that it was time for Raga to be presented to the Council. Soül explained that in the costumes of the Black Wing Flight after this Raga would considered as a young adult.   The presentation to the Council was a simple ritual. Soül took Raga and Tiutme to the Council chamber. Soül then placed his hands on Raga's shoulders and told the Council that Raga was his son. He told the Council Raga's full name as Raga looked around the chamber. He saw the faces of many dragons that he did not know, but one was familiar to him. Smiling from his seat was Schaudteif.   There was a party after the event. Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser and Kaan were also there for the party. All the members sat and happily talked to Raga about the event and its historical importance. They also told him about what happened during their event and the party. It was a fun time with friends. As the party dragged Kaan recommended that Raga should go to Schlullk Ills where he met Aligioni Sebla.   Soül and Tiutme told Raga that they would still be living separately. Since Tiutme loved the Waves over the city and Soül couldn't stay too far from the city because of this Raga would have to travel between the two. The family agreed that Raga would go to the city for one week every summer.

Juhlkschmö and Murder

After two years of going to the city, Raga started to dread it because his father would spend little time with him. If Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser was in the city Raga would visit them instead. Durring one of these visits Raga was visiting them, Kao had a splitting headache and his eyes turned red. Kao stood up and left suddenly.
"What happened?" Raga asked.   "It's classified," Azrimor replied.   "He will be fine though. He is going to Juhlkschmö Knochdt Schternnts. It is a special hospital. There is nothing to worry about it." Schlurf said.
Raga left Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser's appartment. As Raga left he got into an evalator and pressed the down button for ten seconds. When the evaluator opened Raga stepped out into a dark hallway with theevaluator closing behind him. The elevator didn't open when Raga hailed it. Raga sighed made a little flame and walked into the darkness and while walking in the dark he was grabbed and knocked out. He woke up in a hospital bed with Schaudteif healing him. Schaudteif smiled and then spoke to Raga.   Schaudteif told Raga that someone named Bürdt had knocked out Raga and brought him to Schaudteif as a possible security threat. Bürdt had almost killed Raga in the process so Raga was greatly injured.   After a few months of healing, Raga met a few more members of Juhlkschmö such as Akeh, Amsha, Mi, and Yinga. Each of them helped Raga in a different way in his healing.   Once Raga was fully healed he was found in the lobby of the Pfussäwinn Witts Neaitsdt, which used to be the capital building. Raga was found by his father's friend, Nach Fodt, covered in someone else's blood. Raga told him that he had killed Cuanrge, Raga's uncle, and that Schaudteif had helped with the deed. Schaudteif had channeled a lot of dark magic through Raga making Raga murder Cuanrge. Nach took Raga to a hospital for care and told Soül about what happened. Soül ordered for Raga to be purified of all dark magic in ritual that almost killed him.   In Raga's weakness, he went back to Juhlkschmö and asked Schaudteif for a counter ritual. Schaudteif used his Necromancy to restore Raga's dark magic. That way Raga could have balance in himself. This event divided Raga and Soül forever. After all, Soül didn't care if purification would kill Raga while Schaudteif understood the balance needed in magic.

School Years

One time while Schaudteif was visiting Raga at the Waves he told Raga about a school in Nuivurze that was called Rethuntregna Weni Aur. Schaudteif told Raga that the school was good at teaching magic and alchemy. Raga told his mother, Tiutme, about the school who told Soül asking if Raga could attend the school. Soül told his wife and son that Raga could not go. After much protest, Soül asked his family to stop asking about it.   The next time Schaudteif came to visit Raga told him what Soül had said. Schaudteif smiled and his eyes started to flash between two colors. Schaudteif offered to pay for the schooling. He even offered the use of his house for Raga to use during the shorter school breaks to save time and money on travelling costs.   Raga passed all of his classes and even worked part-time at a tea house, called Ochdtit Wacksauk Unnʧeö. Raga worked there mostly at night. He was able to stay on top of his classes and was happy when he was done with all of his classes. But he soon became bored as there was nothing left to master in the Waves.      

Racing

With Tiutme's permission, Raga went to Schproülaudt Schtrücker to become a Jiebo Meelacha jockey. While living at Schproülaudt Schtrücker Raga got to see his friends more often. Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser told Raga that they often come here because Kao likes to watch the theatre there.   While working as a jockey Raga started to visit Qaydith's cave. After all, Raga still had a magic key that allowed him to teleport into the cave. At the cave, Qaydith offers to teach Raga swordplay, knife work, and knife throwing. Raga agreed to learn how to use weapons, after all, he had already mastered magic. Qaydith of course didn't teach Raga for free. Qaydith took his prize from Raga's body.   Raga became a somewhat famous racer. He was banned from doing knife-throwing games because he was very good at them. He didn't mind being banned from them because Alls dared him to do it.   One of the races that Raga did was a grand prize derby which he won the race by a close margin. After the ceremony, Raga was surprised that his friends saw the race. He was even more surprised to find out that Tiutme, Schaudteif, and Soül also saw the race live. Raga was first greeted by his friends who were happy about their friend's victory. Tiutme was also proud of her son and told him that the money would help their town so much. Schaudteif didn't come very close, but Raga could tell that he was happy and proud. Then there was Soül who was mad that Raga didn't use a storage name. His son's skill was impressive but racing in a betting sport could drag the family name through the mud. Soül then forbade Raga from racing again.    

Enlisting

After his short racing career, Raga decided that there wasn't much that he could learn. He decided that maybe he should put his skills to good use. He knew a lot about weapons and magic as well as other skill sets that would be useful. With Tiutme's sorrow, Raga left for the city to join the military. She gave her son the small sum of money of two thousand Veni to help him start a new life which he turned down   On his way to enlist Raga ran into his dear friend, Aligioni. She helped him get onto his train, but they did get a chance to chat about Raga joining the military and Ali told him to be careful and that if he needed anything she would be there.   After chatting Raga got on his train and headed to Pfussäwinn Witts Neaitsdt which used to be called the Council Building or Goverment Building. The name was changed because House Pfussäwinn has become the most powerful Shifter Dragon house within Bridt Schtricksüker.   Raga filled out the enlistment form and had a medical exam to make sure that he would be a good fit for the military. He was given his forms to hand to the front desk so the examiner could see the next person. Since they were very busy that day. He was then stopped by two people in black suits who Raga later learned were Conlaed and Wichdt of Söchdt Blannäbe Schennsch or the SBS.
"Can I see your paper work?" Conlaed asked.   "No," Raga said, "Who are you?"
To Raga's surprise Kao and Alls came into the room while Raga was trying get to the desk. Kao walked over to them and greeted Raga while taking the paperwork. Kao started to flip through the paperwork while Alls tried to get the papers back for Raga. It didn't take long for Raga to become annoyed and he took the paperwork back and turned to look at Conlaed and Wichdt asking to see their boss.   Doyu came over to the group and moved them to his office through a Golden Portal. Doyu explained to Raga that he was in charge of the SBS and Raga handed the paperwork over to him since it was his job to sort through it. Raga then left so Doyu could discipline Conlaed, Wichdt, Kao, and Alls.    

Military Training

I passed almost every test they gave me.

Raga started to do military training and passed every test that was given to him for the specialized groups of the SBS and Fröckdt. He also didn't need that much training since he already had a lot of skills in weapons and magic and caught on to military protocol easily. Raga also started to work with the police called Kwönnsch Püerngsing and do some military work.   While doing his military training Raga found time to visit with Aligioni, who he called Ali. Raga felt more at ease when he was with her and felt he could be more like himself around her. It was a relief to him with all of the chaos and hardship in his life.
"Have you ever thought about joining SBS?" Ali asked as she pulled some weeds in her flower beds.   "I think I would do more good in the military as a Fröckdt." Raga said as he set the watering can down.   "Think about it," Ali said, "They have better benfits and we will be able to see each other more often. One of my friends from the SBS will be coming over later. Maybe you can talk to them?"
Raga decided to talk to Schaudteif about his path. After all Raga's goal was to become Schällk Fröckdt, or Spell Solider. Schaudteif was the doctor for the Schällk Fröckdt and would be able to advise Raga. After talking to Schaudteif Raga decided to join the SBS over the military. The reason that Raga decided to make this choice was because of his biology. Raga was part dragon and part wild elf. The wild elf part was more vulnerable to magic poisoning. The safer bet would be to join the SBS.

Spy

Raga became an SBS agent and became Tannra Medɔzula's partner and the two became good friends as they worked together. Raga never told his friends in the Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser that he became a Harchashto agent telling then instead he was infantry.   As his career started to take off Raga became friends with a little girl named Aùshe Sûngâzuōng. She lived in the village that Raga grew up in and she was the daughter of a family that Raga's mother was friends with. Raga tried his very best to not get too close to Aùshe since he didn't want to hurt her or be hurt by her. As a Half-Dragon he knew that his life would be longer than hers, so he didn't want to get too attached to her.
"You're stuck with me, Raga. Like it or not you are the closest thing to a big brother that I will ever have. I want you to be that brother," the little girl said.
Aùshe loved Raga and would follow him everywhere when he was home on leave and not spending that time with his father. In an attempt to get her to stop Raga taught her how to ride jiebo meelachaso so that she could spend more time riding than following him around. However, when he started to ignore her she would find ways to weasel back into his life. She thought of him as a brother and in time Raga started to feel the same way about her.   With the almost neverending Dragon Wars and the town being on the border it was not uncommon for the Black Flight's army to come to the town and on occasion, some of the soldiers that would come were Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser. Raga was always happy to see them and since there were more children in town Kao and Alls would tell stories of their time spent in the war. Aùshe loved hearing their stories and was impressed that they were Raga's friends. She had thought that he didn't have any and knowing he had friends made her happy.   Raga asked Aùshe to meet him on top of the water tower in the center of town one night which she agreed to since that was where they had their heart-to-hearts. Raga told Aùshe that he revieced orders that implied he would be having a bigger role in the war. Due to this it would be a long time before he could come back to Tichenfdt Ronnts and visit her.   Aùshe asked him to promise that he would come and save her one day since she was adamant he would become a war hero someday. Raga laughed at her request and promised with a hug. That summer Raga got on a train and went to Nyiltokti promising Tiutme that he would be careful and that he would stay in conact.

Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser

The Great Dragon Wars didn't seem to be stopping any time soon and Raga was working as a spy during the war, but he did work with Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser on occasion. One of the tasks that he got to help with was complicated.   Kao went into a Dragon Rage which hurt the military because of everything that Kao knows. Raga went on a mission to kill or bring in Kao undercover as a footsolider with Alls who was unaware of Raga's mission. Doyu was also there as the official SBS agent for the mission. Kao was found on a frozen mountain. In a moment of self-sacrifice, Schlurf stepped between his friends and Kao's sword which snapped Kao out of his dragon rage. Sadly, Schlurf's wounds were fatal and he decided to release his soul since he would bleed out before getting medical attention.   Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser went on leave after the mission to recover. Raga was sent on a few other missions and didn't see his friends again for some time. Later Raga was sent back to his hometown with Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser. They needed to check to make sure that the town was still safe since they got a tip that the Golden Flight was going to attack the town and they needed to secure the Konn Prünnzu Tradtar that was in the Waves.

Homecoming

"You really sprouted." Raga said as he embraced his little sister.
Raga was sent with Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser to his home town. Raga talked with his mom who was sad to hear that his relationship with Ali was on the rocks after she had refused his proposal. Tiutme encouraged Raga to give Ali some space and try again to win her heart when he got back.

"I'm sorry, but what really happened at Tichenfdt Ronnts is classified." Azrimor answered with a heavy heart.
The details of what happened during Sürl Dussch are classified so common people don't know what happened. The report that was given to the citizens of Bridt Sche was that all members of Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser were killed along with the escorting foot soldiers of which Raga was one of them.   The reports further stated that they were killed by Jôwoj hūb Ibawūkae Dō Monks that is loyal to Tuzæk Tuɦegasa. Tuzæk Tuɦegasa is the government of Tuzæksoskī and were enemies of the Black Dragons.   Those who know anything about the Golden Dragons know that they are superstitious and are afraid of the Waves so it is unlikely that they would attack the Waves. This has caused many to doubt the report.      

The Job

"I'm here for two reasons. One, you agreed to pay me. Two, Aùshe asked me." Raga said.
Five years after Sürl Dussch Raga met back up with Aùshe at Nyiltokti. The meeting was pure chance and Raga almost didn't recognize her. Aùshe asked Raga what he was doing now since he was reported dead. Raga told Aùshe that he was a Mercenary. That way he could still help people without being at the military's beck and call.   Aùshe and Nyesi Ncasssekwa then told Raga about a job that they were doing. Raga agreed to the job and asked Aùshe where he would be meeting up with her friends. Aùshe told Raga that the job would take place at night and that he would be meeting the rest of the team at a train station near a Konn Prünnzu reactor. Aùshe then told Raga that it was a bombing mission and that it would most likely be a suicide mission.   He boarded the train on the agreed-upon night. He sat crouched on the top of the train. The wind was chilly on that fateful night. As soon as he boarded the train he had a feeling that he might not be getting off of it.

Sexuality

Raga is technicity heteroflexible which can be described as individuals who primarily identify as heterosexual but are open to having some level of same-sex attraction or experiences. Raga wants to have a more serious relationship with Aligioni Sebla and is willing to wait for her to decide that she wants that type of relationship too.  

Education

As a child, Raga went to school at Tichenfdt Ronnts he wasn't very good at his lessons because he preferred to be outside and not stuck indoors. He also had a hard time focusing on his lessons often looking out the window and counting down the hours to when he would work in the stables. However, as he got older he got better at school and was starting to understand what he was learning. For example, Raga started to learn how to speak different languages which he enjoyed. The skill proved to be very useful throughout his life.   While working at the stables Raga was taught how to ride Jiebo Meelacha and the safe paths through The Waves as a Wave Guide. This practical skill was something that Raga enjoyed growing up in the country and helped him learn magic and survival skills.   In true form to the Elder Races Raga started using magic when he was young and since there wasn't a magical school in the village due to the tradition of magic being taught by the parents Tiutme started to teach her son as best as she could. Since she was Ungifted she taught him how to use magic and the practice of alchemy to be an Alchemist as using magic is not required for alchemy. However, Raga quickly outpaced what Tiutme knew so she provided him with books to help him learn more about magic. Schaudteif also helped teach Raga by giving him other study materials.   When Raga got older he wanted to protect the village and used his alchemy skills to create wards. At Tiutme's request, Cuanrge taught Raga archery as his first time learning about weapons. Raga liked archery but he hated learning it because of his abusive uncle. Raga would practice archery when he was checking up on the trails that go through the Waves on the Giant Spiders and far-off rocks. Later Tiutme canceled the lessons after Raga told Schaudteif about what Cuanrge was doing to Raga. Tiutme picked up the pieces and did her best to teach what she knew about archery to her son herself. Raga mastered it quickly and Tiutme was very proud of him.   Over time Raga learned at Rethuntregna Weni Aur and stated to his mother that he wanted to study there and with the help of Schaudteif can attend the school. Raga learned many things from the school including how to behave among the high societies of the Black Wing Flight. This etiquette became important as Raga got older and served him well in the military later.       After learning about magic Raga wanted to learn other skills besides magic and archery. He learned about Schproülaudt Schtrücker and the Jiebo Meelacha races that take place there. While there and on a dare from Alls Uchdt Raga learned knife throwing and got good enough that he was banned from the game. Racing was fun and Raga was happy to show off his skills at riding. While living in Schproülaudt Schtrücker Raga would use the key that Qaydith gave him to enter a magical cave to learn about weapons and took to swords and daggers and excelled which became useful with his military career.

Employment

Since Tiutme grew up in poverty on Shinia she wanted her son, Raga, to start being responsible so she would have him help clean dishes in the kitchen at her tavern and wait tables and serve customers when he got older. He would also help the Sûngâzuōng Family with their Jiebo Meelacha Ranch as a stable hand and would clean the stables and look after the animals. Raga loved working at the stables and learned a lot about life and death by being around the short-lived creatures.   Raga learned about the nearby mountains called The Waves and became a Wave Guide. While working as a guide he would guide tourists through the mountains to the next campsite so they would be safe in the mountains. Raga would cook for the tourists under his care at the camps and serve them. He would also set up the camp by pitching Magical Tents which helps with the set. These tents are enchanted so they are furnished inside and the tourists can pay for better and more luxurious ones. These tents are safe to use in the Barriered and Warded sections of the mountains that are marked by Singing Stones. Raga would also take care of the Jiebo Meelacha that are important to getting around the mountains and he would protect the tourists from the Giant Spiders. As hard as the work is Raga enjoyed it because it was outside and a more fun way to spend the summer. When not showing people around the Waves Raga still has things that he needs to do as a Wave Guide. One such task is making sure the Barriers are at the waypoints to make sure that the mountains don't move the campsites.   For a time Raga went to school at Rethuntregna Weni Aur in the city of Nuivurze and since he got good grades and turned in his homework on time he was allowed to work part-time. Raga worked at Ochdtit Wacksauk Unnʧeö as a waiter due to his experience at his mother tavern. He primarily worked in the evenings and at night because he had to go to school in the morning and afternoon. Raga also worked during the weekends if he was caught up on his homework.       After graduating from Rethuntregna Weni Aur Raga started racing at Schproülaudt Schtrücker which helped bring money to Tichenfdt Ronnts and his family. Raga's racing career was short after he won a championship race that his friends and parents were watching when he wasn't aware they were. Soül, Raga's father told him that he couldn't race anymore because racing is a betting sport. Soül didn't want Raga to drag the Soyla name through the mud if Raga continued. Raga stopped racing after that conversation and moved back to the Waves for a while. He still went to Schproülaudt Schtrücker and worked there as a performer.   Shortly after this Raga decided to join the Black Wing Army and with the advice of Aligioni Sebla and Schaudteif Raga decided to join Söchdt Blannäbe Schennsch and become a Harchashto instead of joining Fröckdt which Raga was originally planning on joining. Turns out that what he learned from Ochdtit Wacksauk Unnʧeö made him better suited to being a spy than a soldier.   After Sürl Dussch, which was when Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser and Raga were reported killed in action, he turned up in Nyiltokti. Raga started to work as a Mercenary with his first job being with Kezedfrunch an eco-terrorists organization that hated Pfussäwinn Witts.

Accomplishments & Achievements

He graduated from Rethuntregna Weni Aur with high marks showing his mastery of magic in various forms.   Another big achievement was when Raga won a Jiebo Meelacha championship race even though he continued racing after that.

Mental Trauma

One of Raga's traumas is the abuse he has suffered at the hands of Qaydith the God of Domination who he made a Warlock Pact with. Raga has had sexual relationships with his patron sometimes against his will. The Secret Keeper Oath has made it so that Raga cannot talk about what happened to him. This has made Raga feel isolated and alone and makes him appear haunted to people.   The only thing that Raga knows is that during Sürl Dussch or somehow afterward caused him to lose all of his memories. He has observed that his memories are returning with time making him believe that it was a memory charm that blocked his memories. Raga also learned that looking up directly at the iron sky of Nyiltokti causes him to think that a large chunk of metal falling on top of him.

Intellectual Characteristics

Due to his background of working with animals in the Jiebo Meelacha ranch as Tichenfdt Ronnts Raga is good at handling various animals. The animals that Raga can handle well are Jiebo Meelacha as two of his jobs a Wave Guide and a Jiebo Meelacha Jockey in the Schproülaudt Schtrücker required him to know how to handle them.   Raga has a deep understanding of magic and can combine disciplines. He likes to experiment with magic using Alteration magic to strengthen Restoration Ward and Barrier spells. He has used Illusion magic and Destruction magic to surprise opponentss. These magical combo spells are illegal in duels as it often means casting multiple spells at once.   Raga has good insight and is good at connecting the dots and figuring things out with the information and context that he has. He solves problems quietly and when he is working with a group he will chip in his knowledge if he feels it is necessary. Raga's insight comes from a long history of lived experience. His insight has led him to be good at investigation. He has built this skill due to his love of studying and learning by researching and being open to various possibilities.   Another intellectual skill that Raga has is knowledge of basic medicine in addition to Restoration magic. This skill was useful when Raga worked as a Wave Guide guiding tourists who occasionally got hurt. He is skilled enough with this that he doesn't have to use magic to treat minor injuries.   Raga is quiet and very few things pass his notice since he is perceptive. He can pick up on small details in people and environments allowing him to react to dangers or to predict how conversations play out.

Raga doesn't care that much for the world around him and sees that the world's problems unless people give him a reason to care. This is because of feeling excluded by people in his village. Just because he doesn't care that much for other people doesn't mean he wants people to suffer and wants them to live their best lives and will some times help them for nothing.

Taboos

As a Warlock Raga has entered the taboo relationship that comes with a Warlock Pact. Like many other Warlocks on Miyla he doesn't like talking about his pact.   Raga doesn't like to be tested about details around his past which he has forgotten. Although his memory is slowly coming back, he finds it insulting when people question his past, making him second guess if what he remembers is correct. This makes it difficult for him to communicate about the past and is something that tries to get better at.

Raga's main motivation is to regain his memories and to paste together what has happened in his past although this is important to him he is willing to help out his friends and to do Mercenary work. Speaking of his work as a mercenary Raga wants to protect his friends even from the pain that taking a life can cause. Furthermore, he will do whatever he is directed to by his patron to maintain his magic.

He is trained in the use of the broadsword and Destruction magic he specializes in fire. He was given training in using knives and guns while in the military but is not that good at using them and prefers his swords and crossbows.

Raga's favorite candy is Honeyburst Candied Nectar which is a festival food in the Honey Festival and the no longer celebrated Rebirth Revelry. He likes Chalda a caffeinated drink black with no cream or milk.

Raga likes to know his enemy's capabilities and weaknesses before rushing into battle. He will watch and assess his foes before making a move and if he can avoid a fight he will try to. Since Raga is a good fighter and knows his abilities and that of his team if he has one he tries to have a good strategy to face foes.

Raga tends to assume the worst in people having seen the worst more often than not throughout his life. Due to this Raga doesn't show his true self right away when meeting people doing his best to discourage people from getting close. He will often act tough or outright hide his emotions.   Raga doesn't like to about the things that torment him preferring to not burden others, such as his friends with his curse.

Personality Quirks

When Raga came back to Nyiltokti three years later Sürl Dussch people around him, such as Nyesi, noticed that things set off Raga causing his head to flinch with his hand going up to his ear. This is a side effect of Raga's Echoing Soul and the memory charm he has due to being a Harchashto of the Söchdt Blannäbe Schennsch.

Currently, Raga is loosely affiliated with Kezedfrunch an eco-terrorist who wants to bomb the Konn Prünnzu Tradtar around Nyiltokti. His affiliation with Kezedfrunch is partly because he needs money and they are interested in working within. Raga himself disagrees with the mission of Kezedfrunch. Aside from needing the money, Raga believes that destroying most reactors will break some magical seal in The Waves.   While living in Schlullk De Raga joined De’s Neighborhood Watch to help boost his reputation as a Mercenary. Raga does care about the town that he lives in and the people that live there.   Raga is no longer affiliated with the Black Wing Army, Pfussäwinn Witts, Söchdt Blannäbe Schennsch (SBS), and Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser. This is because he was reported dead during Sürl Dussch with the rest of Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser which Raga was never an official member of but was friends with all of the members. He is no longer affiliated with the army of Kwönnsch Püerngsing for the same reason.   As for Pfussäwinn Witts and the SBS Raga is not affiliated with them either on the count of having been reported dead. Raga does have a close friendship with Kaan Pfussäwinn who has shown an interest in creating an alliance with their Dragon Houses. Out of all of the organizations that Raga has been part of the SBS is one of the larger ones that he was apart of. Raga was partnered with Tannra Medɔzula and was friends with Wichdt, Conlaed, and Doyu Nuktae. Upon being discovered to be alive the SBS Harchashto want to bring Raga back to the office to catch up on five years of paperworks.

Family Ties

  Raga's father is Soül Soyla the Black Wing Shifter Dragon Portal Master. Soül has a distant relationship with Raga partly because of the distance between Nyiltokti where the main Portal Station was and Tichenfdt Ronnts at the foot of The Waves. Raga didn't even learn that Soül was his father until he was a teenager.   Tiutme Soyla is Raga's mother and until her death in Sürl Dussch she ran the tavern in Tichenfdt Ronnts. Since she primarily raised Raga by herself they have a close relationship and Raga loved his mother dearly. Raga respected her and what she thought about before going to Rethuntregna Weni Aur and working as a jockey in Schproülaudt Schtrücker. They had several conversations before Raga decided to join the Black Wing Army.   Although not related to Raga Aùshe Sûngâzuōng, a Jade Human, aserted herself as Raga's kid sister which was something that he was okay. Raga loved her high energy and love for life. She quickly became friends with Raga which was some what unusual for mortals with the Dragons.  

Religious Views

Raga is knowledgeable on various old religions and cults related to Fa Geinn. In addition to being proficient with magic Raga's knowledge of the religions in Bridt Sche has been useful to him. Raga also has a rudimentary knowledge of Christianity and is curious about the faith.   Raga is a casual follower of Ci Scá Múnt the main religion that Fa Geinn is the pantheon of. He carries the holy symbol of Qaydith the Lord of Domination who is the god that he worships. Due to this Raga knows the rituals around Qaydith and his cults such as Dā Е̄tyū KacīGwryngoivl BlyndNtifr Blynd, and Bhoa dru Durá. He worships and performs rituals in honor of Qaydith now and again.   Since the worship of Fa Geinn, their main religion of Ci Scá Múnt, and other cults is illegal with the Dissolvement of Ci Scá Múnt Raga doesn't talk about his faith or beliefs and does most of his religious practices privately.

Social Aptitude

Raga prefers to speak briefly and doesn't like small talk preferring to get to the point. Since Raga's communication style is rigid and straight to the point he comes off as rude, uncaring, or even passive in his speech even if that is not what he meant. For the most part, Raga is polite but he doesn't sugarcoat what he is saying often finding brief and polite ways to speak. When Raga breaks from accepted manners it can be jarring and he uses these breaks to help emphasize what he is saying.   Raga doesn't think that highly of himself for having been brutalized and broken down throughout his life. This comes out in his speech with him downplaying himself and his abilities. This leads to Raga leaning more toward introversion in his communication to the point that he doesn't care to meet new people often. His ever-changing circle of friends are made up of people who decided that they wanted to be his friends.   As a Warlock, however, Raga is very charismatic which is something that most people who know him don't know about him. People can be surprised when Raga can talk him and other people out of things and get them what they need or want. Raga can put on a new face and act in whatever part he needs to reach his goals making him a good performer. Raga will often say things that will people think that he is not as charismatic as he is. Being able to speak well is important for Raga's warlock spells and if he wants new spells he must speak with his patron.

Mannerisms

Raga's gestures are closed off preferring to keep his hands resting on his hips or just at his sides. He does tend to pace at times and is just as likely to stand still. He holds eye contact well with other people but is usually the first to break eye contact by turning his head fully away from people.    In conversation, Raga will do what he can to keep it brief often ending the conversation by predicting what will be said in the conversation.

Raga took up journaling when he was young and carried the hobby into adulthood adding scrapbooking and drawing into his normal journaling. His journal is important as he keeps his thoughts and discoveries within the journal believing that it will be his legacy.

History

They met during Raga's first job with Kezedfrunch Raga didn't like Stala that much because of her flirting and childishness. Stala wasn't sure of Raga because he is a Böm Graitne Schällk and was enhanced by Pfussäwinn Witts. During the mission, Raga saved Stala twice and she thanked him by giving a fire Focus Crystal. At the end of the job, she promised to get him on the next one and a pay raise. She wasn't able to do that, however.   Stala hired Raga the next evening to help her steal blasting agent from a Pfussäwinn Witts warehouse on the plate. He agreed and she paid him with a summoning crystal that contains a powerful fire spirit. She helped Raga remember more of his past after discovering that she works at Schproülaudt Schtrücker which was a place that was visited every year by Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser.    She had to leave to go to Schproülaudt Schtrücker and work because it was fair season because of that Najel hired Raga for the next job and gave him a raise. Raga got a rain check on the dinner she had offered to cook for him before she left for work.

They met when Raga first enlisted Wichdt wanted Raga's papers to approve him for Böm Graitne Schällk and SBS. Raga didn't want the person taking his papers to hand them over to Wichdt who wasn't part of the staff. After an argument, Duyo came and took the papers giving them both recommendation stamps.   They met again at Ills when Wichdt was asking Ala if she would come with him. Ala refused and Raga defended her making sure that her choice was not violated.    The next meeting was at the support pillar for De when Wichdt was shooting at Raga from a helicopter that Wichdt was later shot out of by Najel. The meeting was brief but hostile.

They didn't get along when Cuanrge was alive even when Cuanrge was teaching Raga archery. Cuanrge was verbally and physically abusive to Raga which Raga took wanting to learn more about archery. They met in Ills at the cafe that Aligioni works at part-time. Raga helped Aligioni revive her flowers and guarded her as she delivered flowers to a Limir. With Raga's unit, Aligioni helped them deal with the drakes that were attacking the district. Aligioni became Raga's and friend and confident and he became hers. They have shared a lot of secrets. When Aligioni heard that Raga and the rest of Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser died in Sürl Dussch she was heartbroken because they were great friends and she wanted to talk to him about becoming more than just friends.

Doyu trained Raga a bit when he was training at SBS and that he passed all of the tests that he was given. When Raga was supposed to pair with Doyu but instead punched him in the face. Doyu didn't have any hard feelings because he didn't want to pair with Raga either. However, Doyu wasn't too happy that Raga became a Böm Graitne Schällk when he could have been a promising Harchashto.

They met before Sürl Dussch and Raga translated what she and Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser were talking to each other but could not understand each other. After Sürl Dussch and when Raga moved to De afterward they didn't get off the right foot. Raga doesn't trust her because she is a Necromancer and she doesn't like Raga because she thinks that he playing with Aùshe's emotions.

History

Although Azrimor has been stationed in Raga's village a few times during the war they were nothing more but strangers to each other. Raga then guided Azrimor and the rest of Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser through the Waves while they were on patrol by Tichenfdt Ronnts Raga village. While guiding them Raga got to know Azrimor but was still nervous about Azrimor because he was a great war hero. They had a better relationship afterward and Raga would visit Azrimor and the rest of Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser when he is at Nyiltokti.   The thing that sparked their friendship was when Raga saved Azrimor and the rest of Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser during a border skirmish. As thanks, Azrimor wrote a letter of recommendation to Raga to get the training that he needs to become a member of Sürl Drün Söchdt Inntser.   When Azrimor came back to Nyiltokti and learned about a promising recruit who was training to be Graitne Schälfröcdt and a Harchashto since he was on leave he offered to help train the recruit and was happy that Raga was the recruit. During this time Azrimor and Raga started to become better and closer friends. While training Raga in swordplay Azrimor would also teach Raga about his dragon heritage and the etiquette used by dragons.       When Raga decided to become a Graitne Schälfröcdt Azrimor stayed near him during the Konn Prünnzu baths making sure that no harm fell on Raga during this time. After this period time, Raga moved in with Azrimor and the two lived together while they were on leave.

Nicknames & Petnames

They keep their relationship mostly professional when around other coworkers or other people in general but they do have some nicknames for each other. Azrimor calls Raga Lurbi Pfychtyksunndt which is Black Dragonic for Fire Mark or Fire Brand because Raga sometimes questions or disobeys orders. Raga calls Azrimor Guh which is Black Dragonic for leader or sir.

The reason behind how they became friends is that they worked together in the same unit as they spent more time together their relationship also grew and changed.

They got along well enough and Raga was friendly to Nyesi and everyone else at Quim Brear.   So you want to play as Raga in some TTRPG (table top role playing game)? I don't blame you. I can help you make a character sheet for D&D and Pathfinder. But there are a few house keeping things we need to go over.   For the D&D... the character sheet that was used is from D&D fifth edition before the 2024 release. So the information will be out of date. So you will need to update the character sheet for the lastest verison. I will also call out information that comes from from D&D books. I will also link to the books on Amaon.   For Patherfinder... I will using Patherfinder second edition. It will also not be the remaster revision. I didn't know that was a thing until just now.  

Dungeons and Dragons

Inspiration

The inspiration of Raga is Cloud Strife. So what class is Cloud Strife? According to Juztin Remy Bello, a writer for Game Rant, has some ideas. I will going off of his report, because I agree to different levels.   Anyways, Bello states that Cloud would be an Eldritch Knight Fighter. This is because Cloud is a well known swordsman who can use magic. This would allow CLoud to have a high strength. Cloud would also have Great Weapon Fighting as his style. With Action Surge, the player can use Cloud's Limit Breaks. These Limit Breaks normally have Cloud use a lot of attacks at once. As an Ex-SOLDIER, Cloud would have the Solider background. With Eldritch Knight, Cloud would be able to use Materia or spell slots. This would start at level three.   Now let's talk alignment. What alignment is Cloud Strife? My sisters and I believe that Cloud is True Neutral, but according to another Game Rant artctle says that Cloud is Neutral Good. The writer of this article is Aden Carter and you can read his article here. Carter says that Cloud starts as True Neutral before becoming Neutral Good.  

Building Raga

Race
Raga is Half-Dragon and half Wild Elf. So how do we make this kind of character in D&D? We will make Raga half-dragonborn and half-Wild elf. We will make his "main" Half-Wood Elf and his secondary Black Dragonborn. This will give Raga a few things and give a cool look in D&D. But let's go over what he will be getting as a half-elf. Going from the Player's Handbook here is what Raga will be getting as a Half-Elf. Raga will be getting:
  • Ability Score: Raga's christma will be increased by two.
  • Age: Raga will live up to 180 years.
  • Size: Medium
  • Speed: Raga's walking speed will be thirty feet.
  • Darkvision: Raga will have darkvision up too sixty feet.
  • Fey Ancestry: Raga will have adventage on saving throws centered around charming magic. He also can't be put to sleep.
  • Skill Versalilty: Raga will gain proficiency in two skills.
  • Languages: Raga can speak and read Common and Elvish. He also gets to be able to speak one other language.
Let's break down what you will be choosing to play as Raga. First, the ability score states that he gets plus one in two other skills. Raga will be picking dexterity and wisdom. This is because of the class that we will be picking, more on that later. For skill versality Raga will be getting proficiency is Stealth and Religion. For the extra language that Raga will know is Draconic. This is because he is half-dragon in our story.   Now if you want to play him as a Dragonborn:
  • Draconic Ancestry: Raga will have a Black Dragon ancestry. This will give him an Acid line-breath. The breath weapon will be a line from five to thirty feet. Raga will also be resistaned to acid damage.
  • Languages: Raga will be able to speak Common and Draconic.
  • Ability Score: Raga's strength score by two. His christma will boosted by one.
  • Age: Raga will live up to 80 years.
  • Size: Medium
  • Speed: Raga will be able to walk thirty feet.
This doesn't give him as much flavor as the half-elf. This race doesn't really fit with the class that I want to do. Now since Raga is half-dragon and half-elf let's play a little. The best option for playing Raga is Half-Elf. If you can play with varaint rules pick the Wood Half-Elf. Then pick these feats from Fizban's Treasury of Dragons:
  • Chromatic Infusion
  • Reactive Resistance
Raga will be picking the Black Dragon options. This will give you a bonus action to infuse a weapon with acid. This the power of the infusion feat. The second will give Raga a resistance to acid. I think that this is a more balanced option. Also these "feats" are all under the single feat, "Gift of the Chromatic Dragon."   Now let's talk alignment. Raga is true nuterial. This will make it easier for him make choices on the fly. It will also put him in conflict with the main character that he will be talking to. This will be clear in the class section.  
Lineage
In Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft you can pick a lineage that over rides your basic race. For lack of a better term. If you make a lineage character in D&D Beyond the lineage will over ride the basic race. I find this annoying, but it does add fun flavor to the characters. If any race doesn't fit Raga perfectly then go with the Reborn lineage.   Reborn are undead and have echos of memories. The Reborn is also on page 20, if you want ot read more about it. The reason why this fits is for story reasons. I will not going into it. But this is the perfect "race" for Raga. Because it overrides the race and makes more of a look thing.  
Background
We learn that Cloud is not really a SOLIDER (spoilers... sorry), but he does have a solider background in Final Fanasty. When making Raga we wanted to make him different. We saw a picture of Cloud wearing a suit with two hand guns. If you would like to see some of these pictures... Here is one with Cloud in a suite. Here is another picture of Cloud with guns/. Sadly, I cannot find the orginal picture that I mentioned. We wanted to make Cloud/Raga a more well-rounded combated, more on that later.   Anyways, Raga will have the Haunted One background. This background can be found in Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft. This will not be that same as in Baldur's Gate III. I will sum up the different things that this background gives you. I will also not being digging to much into the matter. Raga will be getting:
  • Skill Proficiencies: Haunted Ones can choose two skills from aracana, investigation, religion, or survival.
  • Languages: Raga will be able to speak two more languages. One will be common and the second one will uncommon.
  • Equipment: One monster hunter's pack, with everything in it. Again see Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft the full details. One horror trinket, a set of common clothes, and one silver piece.
  • Harrowing Event: This is the one dark moment that made Raga haunted.
  • Heart of Darkness: This makes Raga look ashen and haunted. He will look like trouble, but people will try to help him if he is standing alone.
For skill proficiencies Raga will be picking survival and aracana. The two languages that Raga will be picking are be Orc-ish and Sylvan, which is what the Fey speak. The Haunted One gets to pick a horror trinket. Raga will be picking a journal where Raga writes everything in. The journal will also record Raga's dreams, and it doesn't seem to run out of pages.   Raga will have a harrowing event. This is more store imporant... But since it is just us. This will be his rage and deaths at the hands of his uncle. Raga will also have the feature Heart of Darkness. This makes Raga look ashen and troubled. If he is standing alone people will help him.   If you don't want to play Raga this way, then use the Investigator background. This is also in Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft. This fits Raga because he was a member of the Söchdt Blannäbe Schennsch or SBS. Without going into all of the details here is what Raga would be getting:
  • Skill Proficiencies: Raga will get to choose two skills from the book.
  • Tool Proficienies: He will be able to use disguise kits and thieves' tools.
  • Equipment: Raga will be getting a magnifying glass and a case file. He will also have one horror trinket, a set of common clothes, and ten gold pieces. His horror trinket will be same as above.
  • Path to Mystery: This will be the first case that Raga did. There is a d8 table with a bunch, just like the Harrowing Event (although that one has a d10).
  • Offical Inquiry: Raga will be able to talk his way in and out of things. People will be willing to help him with his case. Law enforcement will view Raga as a nuisance.
For skill proficiencies Raga will be choosing insight and perception. The tool proficiencies don't really fit Raga that well. Not all of the equipment seems to fit Raga. The horror trinket will be the same as in Haunted One. The journal will also work as the case file.   Then there is the path of mystery. The case will be that he doesn't remember what happened to him during the Sürl Dussch. All the notes will be in his journal. The background also has the Offical Inquiry. This will make Raga talk his way out of things. People will be willing to help him with finding his memories or what happened to him. But law enforcement will view Raga as a nuisance.  
Class
You might think that I will make Raga a Eldritch Knight Fighter, but if you look at the stats I picked you will see something odd. Not once did I choose to boost Raga's strength. I always choose to boost his charisma or dexterity. Why would I do that when Raga must be a fighter like Cloud?   Raga is a Hexblade Warlock from Xanathar's Guide to Everything. So who is the patron? I will talk about the patron later. Hexblade can use their charisma score to attack instead of strength or dexterity. But Cloud is not charismatic, you are saying. To which I say, Cloud is not charismatic but Raga is. Let's break down a few things. Starting with the basic warlock.   With the basic warlock Raga will be getting Sworn and Beholden. The basic Warlock stuff can be found in the Player's Handbook. This talks about the basics of being a Warlock, and that they have a relationship with their patrons. Warlocks like to dive into secrets. This doesn't fit Raga super well, because he isn't motivated by knowledge and secrets.   Raga will of course be getting all of the basic Warlock stuff. We will go over the hit points first:
  • Dice Hit: 1d8 per warlock level.
  • Hit Points: plus eight to constitution
  • Higher Hit Points: Add five more hit points per warlock level.
This makes Raga a healthy fighter. Making it harder to attack him or damage him. The next thing that Raga will have is proficiencies. For the Warlock that is:
  • Armor: Light armor
  • Weapons: Simple
  • Tools: None
  • Saving Throws: Wisdom and charisma
  • Skills: Choose two from these... arcana, deception, history, intimidation, investigation, nature, and religion. Pick arcana and investigation or theme based skills.
Light armor fits Raga super well. Raga does wear lighter armor, like Cloud. Simple weapons are good, because Raga is skilled in a few weapons. Adding to the saving throws makes sense, because we have boosted Raga's wisdom and charisma. As for the skills that Raga will picking intimidation and history. I'm not going to go over patrons or pact magic right now. I will also not be going over eldritch invocations. But I will be going over the Pact Boons. Raga will be choosing either:
  • Pact of the Chain
  • Pact of the Blade
  • Pact of the Tome
Since Raga is a Hexblade Warlock he will be picking Pact of the Blade. This pact makes it so Raga can be good with any weapon. Any weapon that can be summoned with the pact. This makes the most sense for Raga as a character and as a Hexblade. Speaking of Hexblade, let's go over it.   According to Xanathar's Guide to Everything the Hexblade is a weapon of some kind. This is because of the lore and the Shadowfell. But this is not the case for this story. I will go over Raga's patron in a little bit. So let's focus on features and power at the moment.   At the first level Raga will be given the following features:
  • More spells
  • Hexblade's Curse
  • Hex Warrior
When a Warlock gains a spell level they can choose a special spell from the warlock spell sheet. With the more spells option Raga gets to pick more Hexblade flavored spells. For the first level, Raga will be able to choose between shield or wrathful smite. Raga will choose wrathful smite, because of who Raga's patron is. At the second spell level Raga will be able to choose between blur or branding smite. Raga will be picking branding smite, because of his patron. On the third spell level Raga will be picking either blink or elemental weapon. Rage will be picking elemental weapon, because he is a Hexblade. His weapons need have a fun quirk. On the fourth level Raga will be able to pick either phantasmal killer or staggering smite. You are thinking that Raga will pick staggering smite... You are wrong! Raga will be picking phantasmal killer. This is because of the nightmare-ish attack it can do. On the fifth spell level, Raga will be able to choose either banishing smite or cone of cold. Raga will be chooseing cone of cold, because of who Raga's patron is.   With spells out of the way, let's go over the curse and the Hex Warrior. The curse is an abliity that Raga can use to curse someone in his sight. More information can be found in Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Mainly because I don't want to summerize it. Then there is the Hex Warrior feature. This makes Raga skilled in medium armor, shields, and martial weapons. It also allows Raga to use his Christma to attack.   From spell levels six and up Raga will get the following spells:
  • Accursed Specter
  • Armor of Hexes
  • Master of Hexes
 
Raga's Warlock Patron
All Warlocks have patrons. Raga is no different, and his patron is the Black Dragon known as Qaydith or Schaudteif. If we look at Xanathar's Guide to Everything there is a part on Patron attittude and special terms.   The attittude that Raga has with Qaydith is on the list in the book. That attittude would be number five on the roll table. With a lot more flavor. Raga is a slave to his patron, but he wasn't tricked into it. He was groomed into it. Keep in mind that I didn't say that Raga is treated like a slave. I said that Raga is a Slave to his patron.   On there is the special terms of the pact. I will also be taking from the roll table in the book. The term is that Raga must act when directed by his patron. If Qaydith tells Raga to attack or kill something, he must do it. If Raga is told to get on his back to entertain Qaydith, he must. Qaydith finds rape to be entertaining, so Raga gets rapes routinely.   Qaydith also thinks that he is a god. That is why Raga will be choosing the smite or "paladin" like spells from the list. Qaydith's realm is cold and harsh. That is why he will be picking cone of cold as a spell too.  
Feats
If you are playing with the optional rules then you can get feats. The average player will get five feats a piece. There are some classes that can get more, but we are going to stick with five for all classes. So what feats will Raga be picking?   First, Raga will be picking Resilient. This skill lets you boost a skill. He will be picking constitution. This is because Warlocks are squishy. Warlocks also need to be able to keep their concentration up. Warlocks have a lot of spells that require concemtration or channeling.   Second, pick Shadow Touch for a few reasons. First, it ties into the D&D lore about the Hexbalde. This feat somes from the power of the Shadowfell. Raga will also be getting few things from it. First, he will pick able to pick a intelligence, wisdom, or charisma boost of plus one. Raga will pick eithr intelligence or charisma. He will also be able to learn the spell invisibility. He will also be able to pick a level one spell from the Illusion or Necromancy schools of magic. Raga will pick either Chill Touch (from the necromancy school) or Illusory Script (from the illusion school).   Third, pick War Caster. Raga will be getting better at constitution throws. Making concentration easier keep. He will also be able to use components for spells while holding weapons. Raga will also be able to cast a spell as a reaction.   Fourth, pick Skill Expert. This let's you boost any skill by one. Raga will be picking charisma, wisdom, or dexterity. These options will boost his attack, perception, dexterity. I would pick dexterity, beuase it boosts initiative in combat, ranged attack rolls, armor class, saving throws, and other physical skills. Raga will then gain proficiency in a skill. For your skll you will be picking Medicine. Then this will make the one skill that he is already good with to expertise. That skill will be religion.   Fifth, there are a few options, based on what race you have picked. If Raga is Dragonborn, pick Fey Touched. This will give him a more elven flavor with his Dragonborn-ness. This will give a boost in intelligence, wisdom, or charisma. Pick the one that is the lowest. He will also be able to cast Misty Step. Of course, you can use this one if he is any other race.   There is one other feat that you can choose as your fifth one. That is Elemental Adept, which let's Raga pick a damage type. He will be picking acid, cold, or fire. The damage that Raga has will gain resistance to that damage. Or it will ignore that resistance to that damage type. I'm not sure which. The other feat that you will be needing is the Gift of the Chromatic Dragon, becaue it will give him a more dragon flavor.  
Dark Gift
In Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft there is a section on Dark Gifts or Bargains. This is normally an option if you don't have a Horror Trinker. But Raga is the protagisnt, so he get special treatment. Of course, talk to your DM before trying to do this. There are seven Dark Gifts or Bargains that can be picked from. I will go ahead and list them, because I am planning on giving another character one of these gifts. Here they are:
  • Echoing Soul
  • Gathered Whispers
  • Living Shadow
  • Mist Walker
  • Second Skin
  • Symbiotic Being
  • Watchers
So what gift are we giving Raga? We are gifing him the Echoing Soul. Reading the flavor text tells us that these gifted have died before. This makes sense to the character of Raga. He has died so many time. So what will Raga be getting with this gift?
  • Channel Prowess: Gain proficiency in two skills
  • Inherent Tongue: Pick an extra language
  • Intrusive Echoes: Nice big block of text.
The skills Raga will be picking for his new proficiency are for flavor. They will be for the pleasure of his patron. These skills will be Acrobatics and Performance. If acrobatics is not something you want to pick then pick to be musically inclided. The extra language will be Deep Speech or Undercommon. Now what is intrustive echoes?   When making an attack roll, or any roll, Raga's soul is overtaken by echoes. He will see things that are not there. He may even remember things that didn't happen. There is a table has the effects of the echoes. These effects can lead to be charmed or unable to act.  

Pathfinder

Concept

Like with D&D we are making a character that is llike Cloud Strife. In case you were wonddering how to make Cloud in Patherfinder... click here for a reddit page about that. Raga will of course not be a fighter. But let's start with the basics.  
Ancestry
Looking at the basics Raga will be an elf with dormat dragon heritage. That is more for role play... But it also makes it a little easier, because there is no real dragon-like character race in the basic rules. As a basic elf Raga will be getting:
  • Hit Points: 6
  • Size: Medium
  • Speed: 30 ft.
  • Attribute Boosts: Dexterity, Intelligence, and free
  • Attribute Flaw: Constitution
  • Languages: Common, Elven, and three more. Pick Draconic, Fey, and Gnomish.
  • Traits: Elf and Humanoid
  • Talent: Low-Light vision
But a character is never just a basic race or ancestry. So what heritage will Raga be picking for his character sheet? Raga will be a Seer Elf. This lets him detect magic and know somethings about magic. He will also be able to identfy magic and decipher writing.  
Background
There are a few options that we can pick for Raga. Solider, gaurd, and even noble fit Raga. If we look at his recent history and family ties. Being the son of the Portal Master would make Raga sort of noble.   But we are not picking those backgrounds. We are picking the Entertainer background, because that is the earliest thing Raga was. I guess a guide would have also worked.... but theme wise Entertainer will work the best. But what will Raga be getting as a Entertainer in Pathfinder?   Raga will be getting two attribute boosts. One needs to be dexiterity or charisma. The second one is a free pick for the player. You should pick intelligance, because Raga will be a witch. Raga will also get the Performance skill and the theatre lore skill. Raga will also get a feat called Fascinating Performance.  
Class
Raga's main class is the Witch. We will put a pin in "main class," because we are dual classing. But more on that later. As a witch Raga will be getting the following:
  • Key Attribute: Intelligence
  • Hit Points: 6 plus Conistitution modifier
  • Initail Proficiences: See page 179 of the Player Core
  • Trained Skills: Perception
  • Saving Throws: Trained in fortitude and reflex. Expert in the will.

  • Attacks: Trained in simple weapons and unarmed attacks
  • Defence: Untrained in all armor and trained in unarmored defense
  • Spells: Trained in attack spells
Witches are only as fun as their patrons. Raga's patron is of Qaydith the frozen lord of Ell Brich. So Raga's patron is the Silence in Snow. Raga's familiar power will also be the Patron's Puppet.  

Details

These details are the feats that the character can have in game. They give more customize options for the character. So what feats should Raga be getting? Let's take a look at my picks. But be sure that you pick the ones that you think fit better for theme and character building. I will also go over why I picked the feats that I did.  
Ancestry Feats
I will go all the way up to level 20, which is the max level of the game. We will focus on the Ancesty feats first. Of course, you can choose feats that you think will be best for Raga.
  • Level 1: Ancestral Longevity
  • Level 5: Elven Weapon Familiarity
  • Level 9: Forlorn
  • Level 13: Universal Longevity
  • Level 17: Avenge Ally
The first is Ancestral Longevity, this is because Raga starts as older in our story. He is a long-lived person. The second feat that I am picking in Elven Weapons. This will make Raga a super well rounded fighter. This is import for role playing... which I will talk about later.   Third, Raga will be taking forlorn. In the story Raga loves hanging out with mortals. Forlon makes sense, because Raga's closest friends are all mortal. Raga can also retain skills easier... so Universal Longevity. Since Raga doesn't like loosing his friends giving him an attack boost.  
Class Feats
The class feats for a chaaracter is also how we will multiclass. The character will start to get these feats at level two. I will let you, as the player, pick skill boosts as you believe will fit the theme that Raga has. Since I use this more for character building and not to play the game. But to help with theming... here are the class feats that Raga will picking. Of course, you can choose feats that you think will be best for Raga.
  • Level 2: Fighter Dedication
  • Level 4: Witch's Armaments, Living Hair
  • Level 6: Conceal Spell
  • Level 8: Cauldron
  • Level 10: Ceremonial Knife
  • Level 12: Basic Lesson, Lesson of Vengeance
  • Level 14: Major Lesson I, Lesson of Snow
  • Level 16: Siphon Power
  • Level 18: Stitched Familiar
  • Level 20: Major Lesson II, Lesson of Shadow
Because Raga is simailer to Cloud... he needs to be able to fight with a sword. So we will pick the figther dedication to give Raga some fighter abilities. This will be important to role playing later. Then we will be picking witch's armaments. Raga's armament willl be Living Hair. This is will be for story reasons.   Conceal spell will make it so Raga can cast a spell without needing to use his hands or mouth. This will be important later with role play. A skill that Raga has is making potions, so picking up the cualdron. I thought ceremonial knife would be a fun flavor, but I am not sure if it is a good fit.   I will hit the lessons together at the same time. So let's look at siphon power and stitched familiar. Siphon power is a good fit because of Raga's relantionship with Qaydith. Another thing that fits is that Raga's mother, Tiutme Soyla, is Ungifted. So Raga will need the extra power from his patron. The other feat that we will talk about is Stitched Familiar. This will Raga's familiar a lot stronger. Now the lessons...   First, is the basic lesson and Raga will be picking Lesson of Vengeance. Raga will gain the needle of vengeance hex, and his familiar will learn phantom pain. The second lesson and first major lesson is of snow. Raga will gain the personal blizzard hex, and his familiar will learn the wall of wind spell. The second major lesson is the Lesson of Shadow. Raga will gain the malicious shadow hex, and his familiar will learn chilling darkness. These lessons were picked because they fit the theme.  
Skill Feats
The player starts to pick these at level two. Of course, you can choose feats that you think will be best for Raga.
  • Level 2: Express Rider
  • Level 4: Quick Identification
  • Level 6: Natural Medicine
  • Level 8: Steady Balance
  • Level 10: Oddity Identification
  • Level 12: Recognize Spell
  • Level 14: Lie to Me or Charming Liar
  • Level 16: Alchemical Crafting
  • Level 18: Terrain Expertise, Mountain
  • Level 20: Forager
Raga has a background in guiding people through The Waves. But this was not the job that he had before he became an adventure... So we use feats to reflect that. The first skill feat should be express rider. This will make him a better rider. Next we will pick up quick identification. This will let him know what most magic items are.   Natural medicine will allow Raga to be a back up healer for his party. Steady balance will let him keep his balance, when it would be hard to do so. Oddity identification, this will let Raga become aware of a magical effect or see a spell being cast. He can then stop the spell from being casted. Recognize spell will let Raga cast a spell through an animal that he can see.   For the next feat you could pick Lie to Me or Charming Liar. The first one, will let Raga notice when people are trying to lie to him. The second one, let's Raga get away with most lies. Moving on to the last few.   Alchemical crafting will make Raga potions better. The last two are terrian expertise and pick mountain. This is because Raga used to live in the mountains. Then forager for finding plants and potions.  
General Feats
Starting at level three the character will be picking general feats. Of course, you can choose feats that you think will be best for Raga.
  • Level 3: Weapon Proficiency, pick Chain Sword
  • Level 7: Virtuosic Performer
  • Level 11: Slippery Prey
  • Level 15: Schooled in Secrets
  • Level 19: Battle Medicine
For general feat let's start with extra weapons. That way Raga has a go to sword for later. Next will be virtuosic performer, and we will picking dance. This is more for backstory... Slippery prey will let Raga slip bindings. This will be important for backstory. Schooled in Secrets will let Raga know about cults. Battle medicine will help Raga be a back up healer for the party.  
Ability Boosts
At level one our boosts still neede to pick. For level on pick to boost strength, constitution, wisdom, and intelligence. This will make intelligence a plus three. That is why Raga knows three more languagues up in ancestry. Any other skill boost I will leave to you, the player. That way you can pick the best abilities for skills.  

Role Playing

Although Raga is a spell caster that is not his go too. Raga doesn't want his friends to know that he is a warlock/witch. He will do everything he can to make himself not loot like a magic user. But his friends fo know that he is a magic user. Raga doesn't want people to know that he is a warlock/witch. Raga doesn't want his friends to learn about his patron.
