We have minions!
The main heroes gain new helpers.
We plot a trip up into the mountains.
Nobody knows where the dragon is.
We ask around, and people know of bugbears, and there's a dragon "somewhere up there"
Female Green Dragon - Hasn't been seen in years.
We pay up the cart's storage fees and head up into the mountains!
Not too far along, we encounter a group of farmers running for their lives "Skeletons! Skeletons! They're attacking! Save us!"
We fight Skeletons!
We win!
We continue on, some hours later, we find ourselves on a trail....
We discover a skeletal animal on the side of the road.
We get ambushed by bugbears! and Ettins! Crap!
We fight!
Reggie Gets smashed by a bugbear! He falls down hard with a gaping wound.
The fight rages on!
As it comes to a close, a white owl flutters in, and she shifts into a mage!
The mage surveys the battlefield. The blood splattered leaves and grass and bodies cover the fields.
He says he's the king of the goblins.
We refuse him, and we find ourselves on a dais over a pit of lava all tied up to each other.
Lightface tightly grasps his fallen friend Reggie and draws him close.
He weeps and prays to his god. Still a mystery, and unknown as to whom it might be.
"Please let my friend not be dead. He's been a valiant ally and good friend."
Lightface's tears fall on his friend.
Reggie's wounds are grave, but surprisingly, amazingly, a quiet wheeze emits from his mouth.
