Session 2 - We have Stuff!! We're Unstoppable!!

The Group buys gear and heads off to their next destination - Lightface gets a bag of lemons for the food bag.
It's cold and damp in the coldhard forest.
 
We come upon a clearing by the river. There is a baby bear trying to reach fruit from a tree.
Lightface helps the bear get the fruit, and mom shows up. She attacks the rogue! The rogue kills it!
 
Lightface rescues the baby bear. The rest of the group chops up mama bear for dinner.
They make bear cloaks out of the legs. Clawed paw on top.
They also get a lot of bear meat. They rinse and camp and recharge after their harrowing battle.
They walk a bit. And begin a long rest. They are awakened by buzzing dust monsters.
They defeat the monsters and go back to sleep.
They wake up and it's damp and wet. Might Rain
 
They go into the forest.
Looking for Dan and Juris.
They meet Dan and Juris.
Juris is the strong silent type.
Juris has children. 2 girls and 3 boys.
Juris talks to his kids in a funny language.
Dan offers to take care of the bear.
 
Trees aren't magic, more chemical.
We offer to do a quest for some wood to make a shield with.
"Go slay a half ogre and we'll give you wood"
"It'll be bigger than us"
Big Smelly Monsters. Lots of them in the mountains.
"Here, come and eat some Lentil Soup."
 
They play darts.
The Goblins learn how to play darts
We play Goblin eye
"We do poke each other in the eye more often than you'd think."
 
Bogdan wins. Bogdan gets an orange as a reward.
 
Juris shoots an arrow at the target...he hits it.
Elfs are cool.
He goes on and on and on and on about the elven kind, their lands, their weapons and their culture.
 
Dan tells us stories. We sleep.

"When you see Ravens, Take Stock, Pay attention"
"Don't chase ravens for prophecies"

Dan pulls out a Harp.
"Bard! Play with me!"
 
They sleep, and wake up in the morning. There is fruit and vegetables waiting for them.
 
"Head South for a Day or so, when you hit the mountains, look out for Ogres."
 
They travel out and run into a lizard eating a banana. It sniffs the air, and approaches us. Yopo flings it away, and four more leap up over a branch and attack!
We defeat them, and we put them into the "what's for dinner?" bag.
 
We travel on a lil bit before camping, and we are approached by a balloon/eyeball lookin thing...
It floats forward and EXPLODES! When hit by a crossbow bolt.
Yopo gets caught in the blast and falls down.
There's goop all over, and Bogdan says it tastes like plant.
 
They rest, and get to the edge of the forest and to the hills.
They get to a mountain, and a big guy pops up and gets Lightface squarely with a javelin!
 
We beat him!
 
He's got a small chest made from purple heart wood.
It contains: 67cc and 120sc
1 Elvyn Rosewood figurine of gull weighing 5 lbs. worth 48gc
 
We head back to the camp of Dan.
We meet up with one of Juris' kids, and he leads us back to the camp, and tells us we're noisy.
 
Dan buys our figurine. We have gold!
We should go to Pinebrook, and buy things with the money.
 
Dan offers to care for bear for three weeks before he wakes up.
Lightface agrees, but vows to return for his new fuzzy friend.
We rest up for the night, and prepare to head to Pinebrook.
 
That night. Dan offers his Anisha tent to meditate. To get closer to my god.
After explaining what meditation is....Dan teaches him and gives him herbs.
Round thing. Spider Web. Little dangley things.
Lightface tries it....his mind wanders....
 
Tall Building, looking down on a crowd below. My flock awaits me.
My god says behind me....."they love you, remember your warning "
"Men who accepted this quest would not see old age."
"Don't forget to tell them."
My vision goes blurry...
"Where are you?"
I wake up with a snort.....and walk back over to my friends.
 
I wake up....with a jolt....
 
Dan says "You're journey will end where it began."
 
Morning arrives.
 
Dan says "Head South, Follow the Coast till you get to Pinebrook."
