Origin: By Ethnic origin, roll d20.
Origin: By Race. If you have chosen your race, but want a random start location roll d8 and read across from your chosen race to see what culture you grew up in. see chart above for abbreviation. Blank mean you group up isolated with your own kind. if you are playing a race not on this list your race is "Other". If your race is Other also roll d100, a roll of 20 or higher means you can trace your ancestry back to the ark ship. A roll of 02-19 means you are descended from some kind of hybrid or genetic engineering from the first settler civilizations. A roll of 01 means you are either a native species or wholly separate alien with unknown origins.

Next roll a d20, on a 01-09 you are from a colony, 10-11 Origin Island, 12-15 Salmagundi, 16-20 Grand Campo.
For colonists roll a d20 with the modifier below:
