History
Chaos Company was unofficially founded at the end of 221 by mandate of King Roger Vorclaf III; as the unnatural cold began to creep across Zoluren, the Monarch assigned Trent Barrelbod to muster a team to investigate, sending them first to Tallsworth Hall and eventually points northward.
Trent was, unfortunately, a victim of the winds of magic, and the teleportation went awry, leaving him stranded on Elysium. His few companions, however, arrived in Tallsworth as planned.
Their investigations into the unnatural cold eventually led them to the demi-plane of Hyboria, where portals had been deliberately opened to the material plane as a precursor to invasion. They defeated a monstrous creature known as a 'Chaos Beast' and stemmed the tide of barbarians flooding through the portals and assaulting Eagleview Watch, where the Zoluren Expeditionary Force, spearheaded by Roger's Raiders, eventually broke the siege.
Their adventures continued as they travelled to the City of Brass on the Elemental Plane of Fire, where they identified a wanted fugitive named Lady Lindryl and were instrumental in agents of the Crown tracking her whereabouts. She remains at large, however, the noose is tightening thanks to their efforts.
Returning to Kermoria, the company travelled to Mirebeau, where they met Ustulo Retch and Brianna Frost, a meeting which nearly changed the history of Kermoria forever. They did a few odd jobs in Mirebeau, and then accompanied Brianna to her ship, intent on utilizing her letter of marque to pirate vessels from the Empire of Therengia, now that the war had officially started. It was during this time that the company lost it's first member, a Kobold Sorcerer named Fork-tongue, who was dragged overboard by a Naga during a midnight raid.
Chaos Company arrived in Winterpyre in Northguard, and performed a number of odd jobs whilst there, including slaying a pair of Frost Salamanders that had taken residence in a nearby monastery. However, while travelling southward from Winterpyre, through Icicle Pass, they unwittingly released an ancient evil into the world, a powerful Lycanthrope named Locastro and a trio of his most powerful chieftains from their magical stasis, once again letting them loose into the world.
Chaos Company spent several months tracking these ancient beings and returning them to their slumber, and, during this time, they travelled to the Relentless Tsunami, Knightstone Landing, Erenoc, Edo, Shard, the Whistling Wood and Leth Deriel.
Their exploits include the slaying of Unamag, Malice Reborn, causing insurmountable damage to The Unholy Ziggurat of Erenoc, and the eventual return of Locastro and his lieutenants to their stasis-slumber beneath Icicle Pass.
