Bumblebuck

This idyllic burg is chock full of plenty and whimsy in equal measure. The predominantly halfling population has baked joy and play into nearly every aspect of life, leading outsiders to consider residents of Bumblebuck deeply troubled at best, and highly unreliable, lazy freeloaders at worst. The truth is that the people of this hamlet work hard on their farms and businesses in short bursts of activity, affording themselves massive amounts of free time to indulge their wants. Bumblebuck has plenty of opportunity and incentive to grow in size and earn far greater coin on average for every citizen, but since doing so would require an abrupt departure from their vices, the ‘Bucks never hesitate to decline. The architecture of this city is heavily attuned to nature, as many of its citizens prefer to build as little as possible so as to honor the tenets of their community patron, Beryx the Dog Knight. As such, most homes are little more than mobile carts or tents, pavilions or rounded caravans with patchwork cloth coverings, only ever built up into something more akin to a manufactured home over the length of a lifetime before the community divides both home and wealth after death.
