This small village exists as an intersection between the Northwest and Gwassten Roads, offering a place to rest and resupply when traveling to the coast, Effluvian Jungle, Toraundris’ Span, or Cyfeill Hills en route to Gylidd. The ‘town’ was mainly a highly mobile band of gatherers and hunters with extravagant tents until very recently, when the population of migrating farmers from Gylidd began to construct homes and set up large fields for wheat, cattle, and other agriculture in the fertile Gwassten. To do this, a handful of them hired a small army of soldiers under the command of Abinus “The Black Stag” Luice, a mercenary captain who taught them how to bring down one of the mighty Clodd Trees to craft their homesteads. Now deputized as the local law, the Black Stag’s Militia remain to ward away any who might threaten the farms, as well as any who might try to change the town’s new leadership - or take umbrage with Abinus’ methods.
