Research Hall
The Research Hall is where the majority of properly documented and personalized research is held, to be studied by any Raven within the Aether Department, or any wishing to learn. The Hall is thoroughly organized for ease of access- first by the type of research being performed (delegated mostly to ‘Active’ or Passive), then to the practical use of it. For example, in the case of Magicks (such as Thaumaturgy, Conjury, or Arcanima) it is organized by alphabetical order on the material, what school it belongs to, then finally by which Raven penned the documents.
Ravens within Records routinely assist with proper organization and shelving of research material, and allow for them to add the additions to the Library of The Lost during the placement process. The newest members of Aether, or those who volunteer, help the Record Keepers with this task to help get them acquainted with where to find specific topics of study.
Practically a library in and of itself, the Hall’s structure has bookshelves and file cabinets embedded into the very foundation, perhaps to solidify the perception of its facets as a place of research. The center of the room serves as a breaking point between the myriad bookshelves, as well as a resting area for those wishing to study in peace. A quiet environment is generally encouraged, though only enforced by those who are currently using the facility.
