Lakeside Stables
While the common folk of Diamond Lake have plenty of reason to despair of their living conditions, they remain several times more fortunate than the community's horses who predominantly dwell in the run-down Lakeside Stables under the careful watch of the brutal Lanch Faraday, a portly ostler prone to distressing mood swings. Customers commonly complain of mysterious bruises on their horses. Still, the price is right, and the walls around back keep the horses relatively safe from theft, so no one has yet pressed the issue.
Faraday bribes Sheriff Cubbin generously to keep the law off his back. Stabling fees are 5 sp per day.
