Laivendale

A sleepy town on the edges of the Assarian Empire. Near the southern border and spreading into the Winded Bluffs and Westfold forests, the very tip of the reach of the Empire ends here in this trading city. Many long roads and trade routes come through here. Lined with all sorts of colorful figures.

Demographics

Much of the population is widely varied. Being near the edge of the Empire not much monitoring happens here compared to further in of people passing through. Most of the permanent residents are spread along the lake and the forests in the south.

Government

Standard Monarchical rule within the Empire. The mayor oversees the happenings with the town and sponsors trade via the Empire

Defences

The defenses are lackluster at best. A small battalion of guards are commanded by Lefluere Silvershroud within the town, 12 at most. Aside from the soldiers and squads of Greyflanks that patrol, no other defenses or towers are present

Industry & Trade

The most industry comes from the blacksmith, otherwise heavy trading paths intersect here. Many of the trades often barter between themselves or stock up on supplies on the way through

Infrastructure

The town itself does not offer much in terms of brilliant infrastructure. A few wells and smaller channels for water from the lake exist for the livestock, but nothing else extensive

Assets

Wide arrange of trade routes, many inns and trading craftsmen, stories

Guilds and Factions

Assarian Empire

History

Founded originally as a small fishing village, the Empire took control of it over time and sponsored its growth into a trading village...still with the fishing aspect along the lake

Architecture

Most homes are built of wood and stone and otherwise fashioned together decently enough. Nothing impressive, but not slums by any means.

Geography

Nestled against the Lassen Lake along the Dusk Hills and above a small woodland from the south, the town is an excellent point for many intersecting trade routes

Natural Resources

Wood, fish, grain, stone, and very few metals from old mining camps. Most of the resouces here are food based
