Shrine of Rauzel
A shrine dedicated to the Lord of Freedom and King of all coursers. Embodying free spirit and power, Rauzel has long since been one of the Assarian Empire's main deities. A monument in his glory has been erected after much worship. Standing tall even today.
Purpose / Function
Standing as a landmark for the proud and majestic being, many flock to this statue on pilgrimages and sacred rites.
Alterations
Other than general wear and tear recovery from the original dark obsidian metal carved into the shape of the being and repolishing the metal base that it stands upon not much alterations have happened here.
Architecture
The whole temple itself is carved from a long stone brought forth from the ground many hundreds of years ago. Spiraling brilliant pillars create an curling ceiling above. Within the center of the white-grey stones lies a circular metal platform upon which a sheer black courser statue lays with many insignia's and tokens of the faith
History
Created during the peaceful years of the Era of Magic when many such monuments were erected, this one has stood the test of time even with powerful wars raging in the nearby area. Many of the older monuments on Aldaria and especially Orovia were destroyed during the Divergence and Wars of the Gods.
