Holy Forest of Sehanine
East of the Great Forest separating Rerya and Evoria is the Holy Forest. It houses sects of elves devout to Sehanine. The wood is revered because their interpretation of the Tale of the Weirmaiden has Sehanine herself lay with Selah in these woods. The holy union, untold in the "false" tale, resulted in several children. These children stayed in the forest, guided by Sehanine through clerics and shamans.
Now, it is guarded by those supposed descendants. They keep up traditions such as their coming of age ritual. They take their life as guardians very seriously, and woe the evil creatures they find themselves lost in the forest and hear a bird-like whistle emanating from the leaves.
Localized Phenomena
No matter the time of year there is always a silvery layer of hoarfrost in the mornings.
