Junkirman'jri jungle
Located in southern Ikune, the Junkirman'jri jungle is known widely for its enormous flowing rivers that keeps the jungle in constant movement and makes travelling difficult and the ruins of old settlements and temples to the old dragons, many of which remain filled with dangers to keep thieves out or have found new inhabitants since, not all of whom are friendly.
But these are not everything, for the plant life within the jungle grows rapidly and getting through the thick underbrush can often prove difficult even for the prepared traveller. The region is considered one of the warmest within Ikune, with only the exception of the Ketrikkhaz Archipelago due to the volcanic activity found within the islands. A lot of this is caused by the humidity of the many rivers that flow through the jungle which is also what gives the jungle its life, with legends telling of the healing properties that the springs have, if only one can find the source. A thing much easier said than done.
