Trewkilni Plains

The Imperial Plains, seat of the capital of the Ni'rral Empire and the region that helped give the empire it's strength. Trewkilni is the word for fertile lands, as before the rise of the Empire the region was known for the bountiful harvests and as a result the region used to be volatile, with many of the old regional leaders wanting a piece of what it could provide.
Now the empire has a solid grip on the region, having made it the center of their core regions and the region frequently sees patrols to protect it from intrusion and despite the decline, the region still benefits from the bounties the harvests gives but still it is not enough to bring the Empire back on their feet. It was here that the original outbreak of the Veiled scourge occured, claiming the lives of many of the citizens and even today, so many years after the original outbreak of the plague, the effects can be felt as many villages have empty homes of those who perished long ago.
